Not often that there is an interesting article on there, but this one was fascinating. Sounds like deeper squad succession planning, letting Wales out to get competitive first team minutes left space in the training squad to include Thomas Woodward for first team exposure. If the season turns into a dead rubber he could well see himself get some first team minutes too to put him in the shop window to be loaned out next season.
