I thought Vig got a touch at the time, but the ref gave a goal kick.

It looks from the highlights that Vigs didn't touch it, it hit the post.

Yes, the ref called goal kick but he wasn't in the best position to judge it and the lino was on the opposite side. No argument with his decision.
