• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Matos is doing a good job and after last night's away win certainly feels like another gear change up especially if he can get us more consistent picking up points away from home.

I agree with Coops above with Key, seems he has transformed him and it's clear how beneficial it is to have Key galloping with confidence down the right and defensive clearances off the line.....in turn allows the clear pathway to see Galbraith play in a position that suits him and helps the team.

Da Iawn Mr Matos.

Galbraith is suited and helps the team in both positions, as the results show, which is why Matos has played him in both positions depending on the form of the RB.

Three players who are capable of starting 30+ games - Centre Half, Fullback, Winger - then a case of replacing anyone we sell.

The winger has to be a game changer with end product in terms of goals & assists if we want a proper run at the playoffs next season.

Agree with this. We need an addition at CB and two wingers. The framework is there now which is something we haven’t had for a long time going into a summer.

I also think we need a fullback or an 8 depending on where Matos thinks Galbraith will play most next season, Lissah is very young so wouldn’t think we will throw him straight in.

Be interesting to see if Lissah or Wilson get a look in. Lissah you would think would be a cert to feature heavily in pre-season at least. Wilson maybe less so. Lissah may be able to do two of those jobs you mention.

For me the biggest gap is a ball playing CB. If we're going to play a higher tempo game, then we need to move possession out of that deep triangle (between Cabango, Burgess and usually Stamenic) far quicker than we currently do.

Otherwise we may be surprised about who moves in and out. Certainly Matos appears to be a bigger fan of some players than us lot on the forums.
I've watched two or three Falkirk matches right through this season to check out Lissah. He's a rising star, no doubt. He is doing extremely well in the pub league but it remains to be seen if he can make the step up. I've no doubt Vic and staff will handle his transition very carefully. He certainly has all the attributes and I'm excited for him.

It looks/feels like that Lissah can be the back up RB and fourth choice CB. By the time we add a loan option as well we will be well covered.

I think part of the problem over the last few years has been we’ve had no real alternative to replace Key/Tymon if they’ve had a dip in form or need resting.

Hopefully Key will be back to the form of his first 18 months with us but I’d still have a full back who’s able to rotate/replace either of those two near the top of my wish list for the summer.

the bigger problem will be hanging onto the top goal scorer and our versitile midfeilder, if the club are REALLY intent on getting to the promised land those two need to be kept, BUT with the financial limits the rules permit one or even both may have to be sold unfortunatly, the coaching team are doing a good job in my opinion with a very disjointed arrival no preseason and thrown into what was a situation with us sliding down the table, the improvement is there for all to see but still lots of hard work to be done , the game friday will show me if the way things are going if Swansea are currently in a position to match the sides around and above us for the rest of this season, so onwards ond upwards for me

Goalkeeper retention is top of my list.

Two games running Vigs has made a massive save at a crucial moment in the game, we will do well to hang onto him
