• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

8th lowest scorers in league, puts us the bottom quarter.
Our away record against the top 10 is shocking.

We need to face up to our problems and acknowledge them if we want to move forward and improve.

It's going to be a huge task to replace Vipotnik alone given the goals he has scored which is 38% of our league goals!
We need to sort out our creativity, supply and goal contribution from midfield and most notably our wingers who have been very disappointing with their numbers.

And then we need to look into strengthening RB and bring major competition in for Cabango and Burgess.

Forget being pragmatic, we need to be more honest about certain things if we really want to push on.
Replace Vipotnik, when did he leave?

We are playing defensive aren't we? Our attack away from home is woeful, that is why there's constant pressure on the defence not to concede goals.
I dont think we played very defensive against Wrexham, Coventry Hull or a host of others we could easily been 2 up at all those before they scored.

Me, "more than likely though" in my view. I hope I'm wrong
So just a general assumption with no real substance or informed knowledge at club level.

Personally I get the feeling our need to sell to reinvest has become less since the arrival of the new ownership group. I get the feeling they're ambitious and understand the need to keep hold of our best players.

I think Smurph is the master of passive-aggressive. 😊. Or otherwise known as "Last Word Smurph". But hey, it's all opinions

.

Yep. Like pretty much all posters on this Board. You included. That's why it's a Fans Forum and not the minutes of Board meetings 😊
Yes it is a fans forum where opinion are shared. I don't tend to make stuff up though, unlike some.

In terms of calling me last word Smurph, it's pretty evident that crown belongs to your good self after the other day,

If name calling is your thing, you crack on, mush.

I see the latest meeting of the misery club is in full swing.
