• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We are not out of the woods yet, yes we have a thirteen point lead over Leicester which at this stage of the season is pretty comfortable.

Our home form has kept us at arms length from being right in the mix but looking at our remaining home fixtures there’s certainly no easy games, enough said about our away form.
Other teams have tough games as well and they’ll all take points off each other, I don’t see us picking up more than four points which means it could still be pretty close at the end.

If we pick up 4 points that means Leicester have to pick up 17 points from 7 matches. Plus Portsmouth 16 points from 8 matches. And they play each other.

Even if we pick up 1 point, they both would have to be getting 2 points per game in the case of Leicester or close to it in the case of Pompey.

Plus West Brom and Blackburn would have to make up 10 points on us.

It won’t be close, pretty close, slightly close or even Glenn Close.

Ok boss.

We aren't going down now, the chances are minute.

But does Matos now go full strength for rest of season to finish on a high or does he start experimenting to see what some squad player can do.

I can't see us getting anywhere near the 60 points you have mentioned.

Sheffield United(a) 1 point at the best
Middlesbrough(h) 1 point at the best
Leicester(a) 0 points
Southampton(h) 0 points
QPR(a) 1 point at the best
Norwich(a) 0 points
Charlton(h) 1 point at the best

Just imagine if we go into the Charlton game needing a point to stay up with that raving lunatic Nathan Jones on the line. If that became the case just imagine the pressure on the players who have struggled to keep clean sheets at home or away.
We got a chance of winning all them games except maybe Middlesbrough. I don’t see how we’re not getting half the points from those games

At this point I'd like to thank the guy who stood up at the fans forum and pleaded with the old owners not to sell Ronald at the end of that season 🙊🙊

Would imagine half the points will get picked up.
We need to get a point off Boro to steady the ship, a good thumping at home and we may have a tough run in.
Iday spell check mmm coming back should be a bonus.

Thought this was worth a bump.

We've surpassed the four point prediction with four games to go 🤐😂

5 more points to beat last seasons record. I guess that's best we could hope for with the lack of quality in our squad and managerial turbulence this season.
