• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It does look good but can't see how it would be ready for the start of next season!

We have a track record. If the Mel Nurse Bar could be built in a close season then this should be easy...

Sounds really good and it’s nice to see a bit of ambition.

The article mentions the concourses being small etc, and a poor stadium experienced and it’s a fair point. When I watch Wales at the CCS the difference between the concourses is striking and TBH it’s a much better experience. There’s a lot more room and more options for food and drink if you want it - I don’t partake as I’m not keen on imparting my hard earned up there 😂😂

Terrace could be built along the back of the west stand so supporters can go outside in the sun for a drink and a smoke.

I’m loving the ambition with this project, but the club needs to be mindful of the costs to the fans comparatively speaking in relation to Harvester etc.

Too high, and the punters will go elsewhere for their food and drink, which could torpedo the vision of the additional revenue that they could accumulate there and then.

Out of interest, how competitively priced is the food and drink within the stadium when compared to the surrounding area?

The prices in the Swansea Jack are pretty reasonable, They had a deal on beer for the Sheff Utd game.

I get the feeling they know what they're doing with pricing, quality on offer and the marketing side of things.

In terms of the Harvester, I won't set foot in there, it's fairly evident they can't stand the football crowd. They'll finally get their wish from next season if this fanzone is created.
