• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

The most insane climax to a season in football history!!
Great memories of Scotland (now called something stupid and corporate) who can ever forget Marc Richards’ goal many moons ago!
Just posted on the Lower League thread the same thing. Incredible end.

The Rochdale fans who piled on the pitch leading to even more added time must be regretting it 🤣

I hope Rochdale can pick themselves up and win the play offs.
So do I but recent history has seen a few very good second placed teams not make it out of the division.

It took Wrexham years suffering that fate, several times they were head and shoulders above the rest along with one other team, got pipped to the first place post and then lost the playoffs.

Wow, just seen the highlights reel. It’s taken a brave person to award that York goal. It must have been the lino on his own as the ref was miles away.

Does non league use goal line technology?
Or did the ref have to eyeball that?

Definitely not in the National League.

I don’t think it’s in League 1 or 2 either atm. Sure I read they’re looking at bringing it into League 1 next season.

Somewhere in the middle of that long clip I posted is a view of the York goal, but from the opposite side. In fairness to the lino he was bang in position, but it’s still heck of a call considering the bodies that were in there.
