Bristol City looking for a new manager look like short listing Russell Martin , Steven Gerard plus Portsmouth John Mousinho .
 
Any competent manager will get them at least into the Play-offs next season. They have been under achievers for so long
 
Reached the playoffs last season lost to Sheffield United .
Manning left for Norwich in the summer abysmal start there lost every home match he was sacked .
Struber appoimted by Bristol City in the summer started the season ok .
Didn't help he had 2 of his best players sold in the January transfer window .

Was talking to a BC ST holder friend of mine last week and I mentioned that they were the biggest under ahcievers in the whole of football in this country. He agreed. Bristol and Sheffield are comparable sized cities but the differences in football histories between Sheffield and Bristol are completely off the scale.
