• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

This guy had a belly, you don't have one apparently.. it's amazing what 15 pints and a burger and chips from a wetherspoons does to you
🤣 At Wetherspoons prices I’d wager that more than one burger was consumed.

Was up at Brecon last Saturday, went to the George Hotel for a Breakie, disappointing luke warm and tasteless, her in doors wasn't happy, had a Breakie, in Red Lion Morriston about a month or so ago, nice and hot massive difference to Saturdays effort at the George, both are Weatherspoon pubs.
No Jemima's Pitchfork Pale Ale either, proper disappointed.

Two disappointments and an all right = below average.

From elsewhere

Ospreys v Cardiff
On a Saturday night in October at 19:45
One week before Wales play Japan, so no Wales internationals playing.

This league is a crock of shit.

I may be wrong but aren’t the Welsh internationals more likely to play then?

Don’t they normally miss the 1st month of the season as they’ve been playing in the summer internationals and then make 1 or 2 appearances before the November internationals?

*just checked and both Jac Morgan & Dewi Lake played against the Dragons last season (in the game before the Autumn internationals), albeit it was 2 weeks before so I guess the point you quoted probably is correct.

Yeah but what about the beer,is there any Jemima's Pitchfork Pale Ale to have with breakfast?
That stuff is like oil, no wonder he keeps making mistakes on here..he'll say it's the premium salted nuts giving him jip

I think they’re in camp the week before, but not sure. The quote was from a real Cardiff rugby nerd, so probably right.

Yeah I’m sure it is. Does seem strange to have a derby the week before the internationals.

Not the easiest to put together a fixture list with so many travel constraints tbf though, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Ospreys asked for some derbies pre-Christmas to try and get some decent crowds in early in the season.

Dragons, Cardiff & Leinster the 3 they have at St Helen’s before the Scarlets on Boxing Day.
