    SHEEHAN SACKED

l We’re certainly play off possibles if only we had one or two better players across the line behind the striker. Chuck Sinclair in this team and we’re not having this conversation. All of our attack is down the wings and Eom and Ronald just aren’t good enough. And when it goes through the...

    SHEEHAN SACKED

It’s only a few weeks ago we were sitting mid-table with one of the better defensive records in the league. I thought the foundations were there which we could build on with a couple of better forwards/wingers in Jan. It’s not been like the capitulation under Williams. OK Saturday was, but...

    SHEEHAN SACKED

Of all the decisions the owners/board make, the manager appointment is by far the most important. So I’m with you on that. They should splash the cash if they’re convinced someone is right for us. Unfortunately, I have no confidence they’ll make a good decision.

    SHEEHAN SACKED

The playoffs are still in reach in the same way that Susanna Hoffs has always been in reach for me. I think we may have gone too early on this. We weren’t far off bar a few poor results lately. It was just that final third that was the problem until Sheehan had a brain fart with playing 3 CBs...

    We want Sheehan out

And therein lies the problem. People getting excited because we’ve signed some foreigners they’ve never heard of, so they must be good. Our squad’s paper thin and seriously lacking quality where it matters. Ronald, Eom, Cullen offer very little threat. Vip can blast one in from 30 yards but is...

The ground was toxic. But then we’ve got a bit of an issue with people giving up lately. It doesn’t take much for the fans to get on their backs and we start emptying the ground on 80 mins if we’re losing. So that’s probably a good guide to the mood. I think we’ve got players lacking in quality...

Yes, I agree with that. We should have more confidence to have a go at teams in our league. We look much better 4231.

Sheehan getting loads of stick for the formation, but that exact formation with almost the same players gave Man City a really strong test for 60 mins or so, so you can understand why he was happy to try it. Inoussa and Widell were both excellent on that night too. But it obviously it didn’t...

Does anyone have any idea as to why we’ve taken a man out midfield to accommodate an additional rookie CB when our defence was settled and pretty good already? I can understand it for Man C, but our weakness in the league hasn’t been at the back.

It’s obvious isn’t it. We’re still struggling to cobble together a squad after the disastrous tenure of Levien and Caplan, (un)ably assisted by Coleman. The last couple of years under them were disastrous - any decent players sold and utter crap brought in. It’ll take a while to build again.

Vipotnik- even better than we think he is?

lol. A massive Luke Williams fan so I’ve heard

Vipotnik- even better than we think he is?

Any idea where he was today? I’ve been busy and missed the game, but my better half told me he wasn’t in the squad and the Radio Cymru commentators didn’t know why.

    Harry Darling

Some fans online are certainly keen. Bonkers, but he’s got that previous link to them so who knows. Russ probably thinks they’re below him, but surely he’s not going to get a gig at a decent club.

Nathan Jones innit. He only knows ugly, attritional football. And to think he’s been linked with us on and off (shudder).

Jerry Yates was marketed as a goal scorer, but it doesn’t mean he was.

Get a XXXXL and it might just be long enough to wrap under as a makeshift nappy 👍

Cop enough to be comfortably top so far, despite him being the captain and ever present. He was never the problem here.

Imagine if we had the option of bringing O’Brien on against City instead of Ronald McDonald. Ah well, what’s done is done. We don’t miss him normally, but an extra body for the midfield would be welcome.

    Josh Key

Key and Tymon can both hold their heads up high after those performances. Tymon’s concentration through that second half especially was superb.

    Attendance

Great to see the place full again. It’s good to have people back after they’ve been so inexplicably busy and unable to attend over the last few years 😁
