    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

I don’t know if the subs were brave. I’d say that they were blindingly obvious.

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

The only conversation I will entertain re Key is whether he’s playing right back or right wing. We are blessed with central midfield options and then place them next to Ronald on the team sheet. Thats a huge gulf in quality.

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

It’s ok for the remaining games in a season when we are neither going up or down. He will be second choice next season behind A.N. Other.

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

Stamenic and Galbraith as the two holders and Widdel as the most advanced of the three. We then have Fulton and Franco as able deputies for the holders and Walta as competition for the advanced role. Yalcouyé won’t be around for much longer and I don’t see us making a similar loan next season...

    I could leave Franco out.

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

Yes, we persevere with Key at RB until end of season. Galbraith goes back to midfield so that Matos can work out his optimum combo in the starting XI. The recruitment team will have their eyes all over RB options for the summer window.

Not sure I blame him for the first half. Walta had looked decent, Fulton has been excellent and we know what Franco can do. For whatever reason it simply didn’t click. I’m sure they will be able to pick something out through their analysis.

I’ve just mentioned this above. I think Matos comes away from tonight with better confidence in Key. He had a better second half than Galbraith did in the first half.

Yep. Whilst he thought his plan was solid, it quickly became apparent that Walta was having a mare.

If I was to document his thought process for his starting XI, it was a case of keeping legs fresh. He’s maybe come away tonight with some stronger belief that Key can take care of the RB position, enabling him to get Galbraith back into the middle.

As for the spectacle and everything before the game, it’s mission accomplished. Swansea City Football Club is being talked about in all corners of the UK, and wider still. This particular seed of growth is developing well.

My word 🤬 only we can position ourselves at the centre of social media and then serve up a stinker of a half like that. Matos is really going to need to pick the bones out of that; the midfield just simply didn’t function. The subs were so damn obvious it’s hard to give Matos credit, but at...
