I was there also mate. Robbed as you say. The train ride back with Tony Millington made up for it a bit 😂. What a character !!

World Cup 2026 - A General Thread (Includes ‘Hydration’ Break Discussion)

Me too in the 66 club. Bobby Charlton was majestic in that tournament. They took him off in the 1970 match v W Germany to save him for the semi finals and look what happened 😂 But for glamour and style that 1970 tournament was the best for me. Colour TV, the first time seeing the magical...

Vitor Matos | Inside The Swans

Is that training session in Portugal because it seems it's been pissing down here for the last week or so 😯

World Cup 2026 - A General Thread (Includes ‘Hydration’ Break Discussion)

tbh 3 minutes "long" is not going to really impact things, they're looking for consistency obviously across the whole tournament, everyone gets a 3 min rest.. but bloody VAR/ other general time wasting tactics are more problematical. At least it'll be a definite 3 mins...as someone said above...

World Cup 2026 - A General Thread (Includes ‘Hydration’ Break Discussion)

What everyone has said above strikes a chord, but where the weather is ridiculously hot, then these small breaks make obvious sense. Not too sure about matches in Canada though 🤔

Best of both worlds for me this afternoon - and congrats to Vitor: is he changing the culture ?

Well that sounds an improvement, a culture change. So needed.

Best of both worlds for me this afternoon - and congrats to Vitor: is he changing the culture ?

Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely delighted we won today. But I had a stress-free and frustrated-free afternoon for a change, as I'm on a self imposed sabbatical from the Stadium till after Christmas - as I could no longer bear the sideways etc "style" of football and lack of commitment/...

    World Cup Draw

Most complicated draw I've ever seen tbh...and in fairness I thought Ferdinand conducted it quite well

Matt Grimes, Captain of Coventry City.

I've never forgiven Joe Jordan tbh

    Some Of Our Fans Today

Weird yes, but he's paid his money, his choice. As long as he doesn't cross the line with violence and illegal abuse. If he does, ban him.

We're in a relegation battle - pros and cons of booing the players

To boo or not to boo...that is the question 🤔

We're in a relegation battle - pros and cons of booing the players

I think this is fair comment. And don't boo during the game. If you have to boo, keep it at the end for lack of effort and passion throughout. but not just because we lost (and maybe made some mistakes through lack of skill) Memo please to Vito and players - "this is why we are booing"...see...

We're in a relegation battle - pros and cons of booing the players

And what does galvanise a crowd is a crunching passionate tackle, winning a 40:60 ball. Only need a few of those to get a roar. Message please to the Manager and players. Especially Franco I'm afraid, looking at that continental rolling about the floor yesterday 😡

We're in a relegation battle - pros and cons of booing the players

But they're not much good of course...and we want to avoid relegation. So what's the point in us making it any worse

We're in a relegation battle - pros and cons of booing the players

Mmm, possibly is the best answer if there is going to be booing , and I'm not naive enough to think there won't be

We're in a relegation battle - pros and cons of booing the players

Hopefully one or two additions may come in the January transfer market. But let's not assume that - or that they will be any good. But before and after then, we are likely stuck with what we've got in terms of the Manager and the players. So is there any point in booing the players if we are...
