    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Ipswich Town 3 Swansea City 0 | Att: 27,594 | 28/02/26 | The EFL Championship | Portman Road

Given the spend since the summer then you would expect a bit more from things. Basing our best season since you say on points despite being 16th currently suggests that the league is poor which tells a story in itself. In fact, I think we were 16th after 35 games last season? I could be wrong...

Wake up call today, we have had a few of them this season. Despite the odd sign here and there, we are certainly an average team/squad. A lot of questions to be asked come the end of the season.

The worse penalty call this season that was not given for us was at home v Millwall. Their centre half pulled Vipotnik back with both his hands when right in front of goal from a cross from the left. Shocker.

Anyone wish to discuss the RB situation then please add it to the relevant thread. Surely it's becoming one of the elephants in the room.

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

Luckily you and I are giving our views from a forum and luckily we have Matos calling the shots on the playing staff. That's all I can say 😬👍

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

I praised him for changing it because it didn't work first half Tuesday. I have raised this thread because of the change made by Matos and the improvement 2nd half. Matos saw it, changed it and I applauded it. We need to be a bit more flexible on times with a Plan B and C and Matos implemented...

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

Maybe something to also consider on our away travels. Maybe could be worth looking at a bit more experience in Ward for the tougher away games or away games in general given our lack of success on the road. I know it can't all be pinpointed to this alone but going by what the thread is...

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

He got beyond their full back a few times which was encouraging. It's a massive thing to draw a full back from sitting in closer to his centre half when it comes to putting a cross in. Maybe this is something that is not helping our winger either..having a full back in Galbraith who goes inside...

He's replying decently so I see no issues in giving my opinion in return to his.

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

Likely to go, surely? Think in situations like this, it's best that all parties just accept things and parting of ways is best solution.

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

If he's being caught out of position by design then we need to be aware of teams that can expose that and then adaptability to team selection needs to be considered. Having a full back who holds that RB position and looks to play down the flank does then offer a more balanced team than it would...

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

A loan to L1 would certainly be another step up in test and give us a better idea on where he is. Clearly there is not much faith in Key defensively so I believe he might be a player who won't be with us next season with a first team RB sourced. Lissah I think will be a part of the squad as the...

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

I wouldn't have thought any differently purely because I think most people would see the benefit it would bring. I believe some posters have suggested Lissah to be brought back and be given a go at RB. Lissah being first choice RB next season would be a no from me but I understand fans being fed...

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

We played that way 2nd half on Tuesday night and it was pretty impressive compared to the way you are saying in the 1st half which was pretty poor. So that shows Matos is willing to play that system if needed. We clearly need to be adaptable. The way you suggest will work on times and the way I...

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

Ok, let's take this off the recent direction of conversation. Would posters like to see us move for a RB who can offer us more balance in the team? A player who can offer the attacking width to compliment the winger, overlap but also offers enough dependability defensively also? Do we look to...

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

That's very valid and I think Tuesday night highlighted that with the switches at half time and Galbraith moving from RB to Midfield hence why the thread started. We all know that Galbraith started his career as a central midfielder. He was then after 2 seasons at Orient put in to cover at RB...
