I would agree with that. It's pointless going with loan players for the rest of the season if they won't be here next season. I would certainly be surprised if Walta isn't given a run on Monday.

Lots to work on and positives to take from things also. If we want to push on then we need to be upfront and honest about things. I have no doubt that Matos will be brutal in his assessments with the players and will learn a lot in these remaining games.

I can understand why Parker hasn't been given a chance, he needs a loan similar to Lissah. Matos is not dull, he will know the issues and this might be the scenario with Walta? Be that his levels or fitness but I find it strange given how the game was going that Walta wasn't brought on.

There does seem to be a reluctance to play Walta from Matos. You would think that when we went 3-1 down, it would have been the ideal time to bring him on?

Lissah needs to come in as RB cover and 4th choice centre half. He will be involved enough throughout the season and that for me is his next step in his career. Key needs to be moved on and a RB sourced.

Seems to be the pattern of the season.

Still a lot to work on especially defensively. I thought creativity especially out wide was the main objective this summer but chuck in a CB and RB to the required list.
