Friendly | Cymru 1 Northern Ireland 1 | The Official Match Thread | Tuesday 31st March 2026 | The CCS

I prefer them being friendly world champions when no one else cares, then blowing it in real competitions. I'm uneasy on how they are shaping up with a non english manager.

I know, I had a Linn back in the day, but I invested heavily in CD kit and it's impossible to just match the sound, so it'll either be better or worse, making the other one sound a bit unsatisfactory. Despite what people say, the CD sound is at least as good as vinyl (to me), so I duplicated...

I remember Gilbert Reece, but I don't remember at all him playing for us. Bizarre.

I have moving waves on vinyl. I no longer have anything to play vinyl, and never will again, but I can't part with all the plastic. Stupid I know. I can imagine you me and Mutey having critical beer infused listening sessions. We'd have to wean mutey off his more extreme jazz though... Niice

Nantes not liable For Emiliano Sala's death.

So there’s nothing to be gained by an appeal in terms of delaying liability, just an unlikely roll of the dice hoping for a different outcome to arguments that have failed, with the only certainty of more costs at the end of it? He’ll still probably do it.

Hopefully if they do, they really get totalled with fines and costs for taking the piss.

Hereford and Shrewsbury in the Welsh Cup used to get right on my tits. Probably a false memory but they always seemed to beat us.

Nantes not liable For Emiliano Sala's death.

What stupid plan will Tan come out with next? Can he pointlessly appeal this and delay longer? Lets hope this finishes it, him and them.

And then some. In a sane universe he's just dribbling on some game show.

    US and Iran

    1) "Iran are desperate and begging for a deal" 2) "I'm now talking to a more reasonable regime" 3) "I'm going to take all their oil" 4) "If they don't deal, I'm going to obliterate the island where they pump all their oil" Completely insane, completely delusional, total buffoon.

    Senedd Election 2026

Possibly, but I don't think Wales would follow as the turds are more popular amongst the brain dead woodenheads. There won't be a Racist majority anyway. There will be a fragmentation of voting, but whatever happens, I just don't believe those wankers will get a parliamentary majority. More...

    Senedd Election 2026

From my extended residence in the land of porage, they are a far more unified and entitled (in terms of self belief and hatred of all things English) than Wales is. We have far more links with England (eg M4, M56 and population mix) than they had during my time there, and they still couldn't...

I listened to two 'short history' podcasts out on a long run this morning. One about Nero and the other about Vietnam. As Pink Floyd might have it, Echoes.

    What Ewe Watching

Missus has been told ‘Lost’ on ITV is quite good. I’m not recommending though. We’ll watch a couple tonight probably. Edit, when I say lost, I mean Gone 🙄

Yep, and we weren't in the least worried about the 'quality' or otherwise of the football. I wouldn't want to go back there but it had its advantages. No stats, no 'possession' toss or other such f**kwittery, just get into them, f**k 'em up and win the game.

New EU passport & biometric entry requirements

I haven't really been following this, but we are travelling to Italy in late July and then France in late October. Are we likely to be adversely affected at the airports or anything we should do in advance of travelling?
