What is with the Ward hatred?! He’s in the twighlight of his career, doing a bit part job for us as an extra body to fill the gap at full back. Monga didn’t get a kick when he came on, and leicester barely had a sniff. Therefore job done by Ward.

An unconventional method but good man management of Parker, we are going to come under some serious pressure here and he can exit the action with his confidence high and develop a head of steam ready to be a regular feature next season. Easy in, we’ve earned the freedom to do this.

Great breakaway, one of those all-too-rare moments of class from Eom. A well edited YouTube highlights reel could make him look like Messi

Everytime I watch an away game I realise how much work there is still to do. Taking Walta and Parker out of the conversation (due to the little we’ve seen of them) how many of this team would get into the starting line ups of the top 3? Vigs and Vip? Possibly Tymon?

Games don’t necessarily hinge on penalty decisions, but that was absolutely stonewall

I had no idea he had that pace in his locker, completely left the Boro players in his dust twice

Funny game, football! We played well first half against Coventry but were 3-0 down. Not played anywhere near as well today yet 2-1 up. Parker has some serious pace, well worth persisting with, different element of threat

What is going to happen between now&end of the season?

With a slightly sharper edge we could have won our last two games, we breached Wrexham and Cov several times but lack the punch and confidence. Ok we lost both times but should have been 2 up in both games. The machine is working, we won’t go down, I’d put my life on that, we just need better...

Ron…..not going to lump in on him, but add to to ever growing ‘how does he get in the side?’ debate. It really is beyond a joke now, every cross, every shot, wayward, offside with the WHOLE LINE to look across at least once a game. I’m sure this isn’t lost on Matos. Could it be that he’s a...

    The Season’s Conclusion

Nail on the head. We’re close, finally have an identifiable and enjoyable style of play and we are a few canny signings away from the promotion mix.

    Galbraith or O'Brien

Galbraith is on another level to the majority of the league, and I don’t think he’s anywhere near his potential yet. To hang on to him for another year would be huge, once he adds goals (10-15 per season is a reasonable expectation I reckon) we’ll either get promoted or sell him for enough to...

    Cameron (Brainless) Burgess

Watching Doyle for Wrexham last night for me highlighted our main weakness. He’s a solid defender, strong and quick, and has an unbelievable range of passing, very much is the Ash Williams mould. Then there’s Ben and Cam with their hit-and-hope passing and M25 turning circles. I respect them...

Fine margins, could have been 2-0 either way. Burned out again on 60 mins and ultimately undone by our own profligacy, the end product from our wingers was not good enough as per. But still lots of positives for me. I like how we’re playing and how we’re shaping up.

A clear indication of where we are at the moment. Playing well, look like the better team, some fabulous one touch fast-paced football, but not clinical enough at either end. Yet. We are getting there, we have the makings of a very good team.

Still huge room for improvement but a great win in a tricky away game, and just about deserved for the way we played for the first 60 mins. Good to see the lads still ‘at it’. I had a hunch that they were already on the beach. Happy to be wrong there, it shows good professionalism and...

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Portsmouth 1 Swansea 2 | Att: 18,508 (536 Jacks) | 10.03.26 | The EFL Championship | Fratton Park

We need far bigger output from the wingers and a robust defensive show to win games like this, being clinical on the break and not crumbling under pressure will be the deciding factor as Pompey will throw the kitchen sink at us but leave themselves open to the counter. Also, from the recent...

    Galbraith

EG is evidently a very classy player with a very high ceiling. But am I wrong to expect more from him, especially in shooting positions? When Vip is about to pull the trigger we all expect, but when it’s Galbraith I don’t get the same sense of anticipation, it may as well be Ronald or Cabango...

    Zan Vipotnik

It’s been seen many times before that a club, the swans included, sell their ‘best player’ for big money, reinvest wisely then actually improve and move up a level. That takes a lot of knowhow (and also some luck) in the transfer market. This Vip situation will be a big test for the recruitment...

Ah yes, Leeds, forgot about that one at the peak of the Sheehan caretaker bounce! We were good that day and shows that it can be done.

    Ronald

Leave him out for the rest of the season and have him play Tetris on full speed for hours a day to improve his decision making skills, which are staggeringly woeful. Wouldn’t want to be a passenger in a car with Ron at the wheel!
