    Vipotnik - Top Scorer (Championship)

Scalability at a higher level. More mobile, better movement in the box and doesn't take a long time to set his shots up. His hold up and link up play is worse but he brings you alot more inside of the box and the ability to play in behind.

    Because he's a better player?

They paid 8mililion for him only 6months ago so atleast double that.

    Wigan target Sheehan

Exactly whichever way you look at it the buck stops with Sheehan. Personally think it's a bunch of speculation people have come up with in order to blame someone else and paint Sheehan in a better light. Regardless he was the one who wanted O'Dea and he was the one who chose to listen to him...

    Vipotnik - Top Scorer (Championship)

It's how you get promoted from this league without parachute payments you've got to sell and reinvest. I don’t remember Sunderland Coventry and Brentford keeping a hold of Jack Clarke, Ross Stewart, Hamer, Gyokeres, Watkins and Benrahma ect. You sell one player and buy 2 maybe 3 and keep the...

    Vipotnik - Top Scorer (Championship)

Definitely should take what we get from him. Anything 10mill and above I'd accept. As for a ST if Vip goes they'd obviously bring one in but we'd have to cross that bridge when we come to it. To get promoted from this league you have to sell your players especially when they are overvalued to...

I am surprisingly nervous for this game. Everything is going great we're building momentum but it would just be typical Swans to go out and lose this game. Yates and Lowe up top dont calm the nerves aswell. Is there any update on Eom and his injury? Hes started to build some good form it...

    Leo Walta

Can't say ive ever watched Walta but judging by his highlights and underlying numbers he seems a complete different player to Galbraith. Most of his work comes in the final 3rd and behind the lines whereas Galbraith is best used deeper and dictating the game from there.

The January 2026 Transfer Window Thread - Now Closed!

What is the logic of a loan + obligation from an ffp/psr standpoint? If the club can't afford to amortize the fee over an extra 6 months that is very concerning.

    Vital said no ST today.

The January 2026 Transfer Window Thread - Now Closed!

Idah is back in March. Do we really need to sign a ST on loan all for 1 month where he'd be playing 10-30mins a game? Just doesn't make sense to be honest.

The January 2026 Transfer Window Thread - Now Closed!

Walta has been on holiday since November so don't think he'll come in and be starting straight away. As for long the term I guess Widell and him will be fighting it out for the 8 position.

Stalled is a very strong word. Agreed he needs a loan ideally but he is only 19. Is him playing u23s football really that far behind where he should be in terms of the normal development of a young player? Him playing those 2 games a few years ago has put this unrealistic expectation on him...

Depends. I'm not a fan of Galbraith as an 8 I think he has to be used deeper and aloud to run the build up and dictate the play (like Grimes). Which i think he is doing as a RB now anyway. Also there is a case of it being easier to find a good midfielder than a good RB in the January market. I...
