    I think the news is based on the 28 images from training this week posted on the official site earlier today. However nothing on official site to say they’re here which I think is strange. I sincerely hope it’s true. Let’s hope tomorrow it’s on the official site.

    You’re right we only lost by odd goal but it could have been so many more in most of the recent games. I’m happy with my perspective and everyone is entitled to an opinion - please don’t suppress that.

    Based on last 2 games I think we’re worse than last season under Williams. Perhaps matos will improve us , but not without any help from assistants so I’m not expecting much from the next 2 games.

    Oxford and Portsmouth fighting for points. I can see zero evidence we will win both games or even win one game. I will continue to support the team as loud as always , but I think we will be lucky to get one point from these two games.

    Do you think it’s worth getting lissah and Wilson back from Falkirk or are they too inexperienced for the fight ? What about glory nzingo his loan spell ends 31/12. Matos has a track record of developing young players , but is it the right time?

    I wasn’t expecting this reaction when I started the thread as I posted it thinking about the fresh start under matos. However it does show the strength of feeling amongst the fan base. I’m hoping we will see an improvement under matos - I guess we’ll find out later today and next weeks 2...

    Fantastic quote from the great Bill Shankly. This should be true of any sports team and to be honest If applied to our beloved football team our support would drop by 50%.

    There is an alternative view that matos was told it will be unlikely his staff will get work permits. He was happy to accept role and build his assistants in role. I’m sure we’ll find out soon which version is correct.

    Our players have 7 games to adapt before the transfer window opens. Some of those games are tough but the manager will be able to see progress or lack of it from some players: if they aren’t showing progress over 7 games , they shouldn’t be picked in the first 11 again. Let’s see what evolves...

    Can’t blame the fans for booing - I was one of them that performance was the worst of the season and that is saying something
