    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Premier League clubs don't tend to spend heavily on Championship strikers these days. Might get the odd one or two, but it's rarer than it used to be. I think about £15m is the highest anyone would go.

    It all depends on how we stay within FFP rules. We build a squad capable of building momentum by smart purchasing and selling high, thus allowing us to reinvest.

    Lord no. Cooper had a strong squad, delivered tedious football but got us into the playoffs. Martin had a strong squad, delivered tedious football, bafflingly moronic tactical choices, blamed anyone and anything but himself for our struggles and failed miserably to get anywhere near them.

    Owning the stadium is fine if, and in football that's a pretty massive IF, ownership can be trusted. Too many examples exist of financial manipulation around sale/buyback of stadiums, or clubs getting shafted when things turn sour. Having the ground owned by an independent third party may not...

    The fact that we've been sailing close to the wind in terms of FFP is not new information. Most clubs are I'd imagine. A doubling of our last reported figures would be an additional £8m coming in, which would be roughly where we were in the Prem, inflation not taken into account.

    You would expect him to have maintained a high level of fitness given the likelihood of him making a move to an active league in January. It will probably take him time to get up to the pace of the Championship, but that would have been the case anyway.

    Galbraith may not be here much past that either. Of our CM's at the moment, one is on loan (MY), one is out of contract in the Summer (JF) and one is likely to attract interest from elsewhere (EG). Nice to have a bit of a conveyor belt of talent starting up.

    I don't disagree. Eom should probably have four or five by now (although I maintain that he would be a better #10 than a winger). Ronald has underperformed. We need more goals from midfield in general, which hopefully Walta will contribute towards.
