• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Summer Window - Who Goes and Who Stays?

This is a general comment. As has been said elsewhere by NW Jack, when talking about more cash from the owners in the summer, it's not a reflection on their benevolence, it's the FFP limitations. More income is needed to be generated to raise the ceiling a la Wrexham, who are able to spend...

    Some thoughts after yesterday’s game

That's a fair point when we are looking for extra quality in the summer. That costs. Makes you think how do we break through to the "next step" (Mark II). Looking back we had such players as Leon, Joey, Ash, Angel (and other Spanish imports), Ben Davies, Trundle, Dan James, Ollie McBurnie...

    Some thoughts after yesterday’s game

Yep, it's the "thanks for your MAGNIFICENT support Jack Army " 😂. WTF ! Though as JB says it was funny when we were beating the likes of Man U etc. Different circumstances now though when the likes of Brum are taking the piss 🤔

    Some thoughts after yesterday’s game

Cooper onwards tbh. It's the intent now to press & to go forward, and at pace, that's refreshing - not that s**t slow stop/ sideways/ back stuff. Just need some more quality up front and wide.

    Some thoughts after yesterday’s game

Nope. Because we don't shag sheep nor is Swansea ( Gower etc) a shithole. Nor are they Club related. My criticism is actually at the Club because they invite justified away fan derision by stupidly announcing it. Why bother. Just flash it up on the screen if they have to do something. But it's...

    Some thoughts after yesterday’s game

Away fans ( justified) derision in the main. I hate my Club being taken the piss. My view, not yours obviously. Fair enough.

    Some thoughts after yesterday’s game

Yesterday he combined both at the same time 😂. Most everytime I looked, he was darting diagonally across the field, right to left. No wonder he was knackered.

..and bigger summer cash from the owners for that extra quality. Not sure we'll get it tbh

    Some thoughts after yesterday’s game

Technically it's Attendance Announcements 😂. Though I'd like a bit more home support seeing as they brought 1800 or whatever

    Some thoughts after yesterday’s game

One other thought after yesterday's game. Why the f**k are we still announcing attendances over the tannoy. I know it was on Sky TV but still a poor crowd despite a full away end. Just invites derision from them...plus also those watching on TV across the country. " Thank you Jack Army for your...

    Jay Fulton

Manager influence I'm thinking. And yes I'd extend his contract. Good squad player. And actual starter these days 😊

Who is ZI...apologies for my ignorance 🤔

    Jay Fulton

Jay was great today and what a superb defensive block that was. Super goal against WBA and Matos obviously sees something in him to make him a starter. Well done Vitor, bringing out the best in him.

Yes, the enjoyment is back even if some extra quality is needed. What's so refreshing for me, apart from the press, is the willingness to go forward, both with pace and directness. The old and slow sideways/backwards stuff was just doing my head in. I am actually looking forward to games...
