• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I remember that too, I couldn't remember who the manager was though. Thought it was Gary Johnson. I'd had a few at half time so wasn't completely sure if I was imagining it at the time!

Forest is the obvious stand out, Pratley's goal & Brendan taking off down the touchline like Mourinho. Honourable mentions go to the comeback against Crystal Palace, beating Cardiff in the cup, absolutely battering Bristol City 7-1 & Yeovil under the lights when Trundle lobbed their keeper from...

"It’s only the clubs second season in existence but they have already built facilities that match those back home and you can see that the club is serious about going places. The training is just as hard". Not sure if that's more of a compliment to the club in America, or a swipe at how much...

Notoriously tricky place for us to go - think we've lost our last 5 games there? But they're not the team they were, new manager and a mixed bag in their pre season as well. That being said, I can see us struggling as we looked miles off it on Saturday, injuries obviously not helping our cause...

They're trying to throw around some serious wages. O'Brien, Moore & possibly Eriksen.

I assume that given it's till January - they'll review it then based on game time or something and decide to extend or not until the end of the season?

Yeah, looks like some people may have jumped the gun on this one.

    Swans to confirm McBurnie signing

Not arrogance. Like I said, just underwhelmed. Clear need for another striker has been obvious & what we (look like) end up going for is another returning player who had one decent season with us nearly 10 years ago. If he does sign, I'll get right behind him & I hope he's successful. But...

Hoping he'll be exception to the general rule of returning players. I just hope we're not doling out silly wages.

Money is the name of the game for clubs though. I'm sure we'd take a brand name for our ground if it made commercial sense.

I'd heard something about Williams from F1 but didn't know that's what they were maybe planning. They could still release the burgundy one - that Snoop's son was seen wearing.
