Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
I think he may do very well next year. But today he wasn’t great to be honest. I was surprised when Wood beat him for pace later on given he was fresh. (And yes, I know Wood is pretty quick for a centre half but still).
Inheritance tax is the only thing which even slightly prevents the accumulation of every single penny of the country’s wealth being concentrated in a few families, with every passing generation making it worse.
Plus, it’s bollox that it’s been taxed already. The people inheriting the money...
I tried to avoid commenting because it gets us nowhere, but this is just wrong.
You aren’t taxed on savings, you are taxed on the interest on savings. No tax has previously been charged on that interest.
And you are allowed to save £12k per year tax free through an ISA. Or £20k per year if you...
The thing is though that for all Eom looks great, his stats are awful. I like him a lot but there’s obviously something missing at the moment.
It may be that what’s missing is better players around him of course, but it’s difficult to say with any certainty unless we get some.
Nunes gave the ball away more than he didn’t. That stupid little nutmeg he tried should have seen him removed instantly.
Wood could have had a red as well imo.
I’m pretty sure that VAR in the championship would have seen us net gain this season.
Enjoyable game.
Downes should have gone.
Eom should have had a penalty.
Our substitutions were dreadful.
They were better than us in possession but we had the better chances despite sitting back too often and too early.
One particular gripe from me was why we are bringing on loan players at...
The current owners came on board alongside the levien / Kaplan lot in the summer of 2023. With others in November 2024. So significant change in that November. Nothing since.
I wouldn’t be so sure that Fulton will have signed on significantly reduced terms. Why would he?
But agreed that we took some high paid players off the books last summer,
Highest paid director would be Coleman I imagine. So this ownership.
Remember that much of this ownership (Cravatt...
So the accounts have finally been filed.
Not available to the public as yet as Companies House are processing but Kieran Maguire has posted a snapshot on twitter which makes for frankly grim reading.
Swansea City submit 24/25 accounts: 🔑figures

As I said, he probably didn’t want to work within the new structure. Perhaps some of his responsibilities around strategy were being moved to the new DoF.
I see no sign of anything even slightly more sinister than that.
What experience does Rangel have to be Director of Football at a championship club? It would be a joke.
At least Michu is a DoF albeit pretty low level Spanish league.
As I said, I think it’s as simple as new DoF sees responsibilities / roles in a certain way that was non negotiable to their appointment and Dimi didn’t want to work within that new structure.
It happens all the time. Nothing sinister needs to have happened even if it’s more ‘interesting’.
I...
Can only imagine that we have appointed a director of football (or are extremely close to it) and the role / responsibilities / final say that they wanted and the role / responsibilities / final say that Dimi wanted were incompatible.
I imagine the club would have been happy for him to stay...
I’m of the opinion Wrexham will be promoted at some point anyway so may as well be now.
I’ve always enjoyed playing them and don’t see them as a derby or anything anyway. Have always quite liked them.
Southampton in the other hand!
BTW - I don’t think we can take any issue with any sort of...
I don’t like the club. Southampton that is. Absolute gits when we lost to them to get relegated. Plus all the stuff over Martin. Plus Rupert Lowe!
And you’ll be waiting a while to see Wrexham fall foul of PSR.
Within our wins though are matches that have probably had the other team with a brand new manager or no manager / interim.
I don’t ‘blame’ him, it’s just selective to ignore them.
