Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
I thought we were quite evenly matched down here. Albeit they’ve been more consistent than us perhaps.
I think we may be better when we’re at our best but we will get beaten if we’re as poor away as we have been in many games.
Should be a good match.
Wrexham’s exposure and marketing potential is far greater than ours at the moment.
They are the most followed club in the football league internationally. Most overseas subscriptions to their games, an audience of about 5 million each episode of Welcome to Wrexham, biggest shirt sales...
Great away win.
We made it so difficult for ourselves that half which was as bad as the first half was good.
Game completely turned when Galbraith missed that sitter for 3 nil.
Their crowd got behind them and we completely lost our heads.
From then on we looked like a league two team...
Today has been his best game for us by a mile so far.
Whole team are playing well, albeit I found myself shouting at Fulton for the first time in ages at one point. Tymon was also shouting at him for the same thing…
What a difference Key is making.
The Uk operates a just in time gas strategy.
At this time of year (following winter) around 2 days of storage is about normal.
We saw a big decrease in storage capacity in 2017 when the Tory government decided not to bail out Centrica’s Rough storage area (which held about 9 days’ worth) and...
The comparison only works if you roll forward the past team to today’s technical advances whenever one of these comparisons are done.
And if that were the case, the 1981 team would not only smoke our current team but smoke every other team we’ve had, including Brendan’s team, with the possible...
Maybe, but a few posters have said the same.
As I said, looking beyond some mistakes and bad decisions that was the best I think I’ve seen us play for ages. I just hope we don’t go back from this as that style of play is just great to watch.
I really disagree.
I think we were a bit wasteful and we were sloppy with some passing and decision making but for me that’s the first time I thought we have the beginning of a formation and style that could go in to be a genuine force for next season.
Please God they stick to that as a shape...
God, I prefer this formation rather than the inverted full back stuff. So much more room. Widens the whole thing out.
Key is making a huge difference. Playing very well at both ends.
But the midfield three is too much if the same. Need one of them off (Franco for me) and Widell or Cullen on...
Yeah.
That has been said quite a few times over the past few years… The on field stuff I mean.
Off the field is promising. Albeit we wait to see how it translates into money for the club.
Yeah, I agree with all that.
I remember saying just before he went that I hoped the club realised that relegation was a genuine possibility as we were in free fall.
Getting us out of that was the main task for matos and he’s done that well. We need to wait to see if the next bit (turning us...
Under Salt Marsh on Sky is really good.
Set in North Wales - lead character is the actress that plays Kevin Costner’s daughter on Yellowstone together with Rafe Spall and Jonathan Pryce.
Quite reminiscent of a quality Scandie thriller in the way it’s filmed and structure. It’s gripping.
how...
