• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Season 26/27

Good call with fitness. Something alot of people have not mentioned. Our Pre Season was awful and by all account O Dea was poor with players and the fitness level was lacking. For me it's about getting a pre season getting levels up that means we can stay in matches longer and get players in who...

    Season 26/27

    I can dream can't I 😋😋😂😂 don't ruin my dream Boogeyman 😝 . I mean VP will go.. But still 😂

    Table since Matos took over

Sheehan still lives next door to Matos which is crazy. Let's hope we don't have 2 fired managers in 1 street 😂

    Table since Matos took over

Well according to others..cough sites.. It will be his first 10 games of next season where he will be judged 🙄. Madness. Unless he collapses and does a Sheehan. I think, like you said we have to give him time. Yes I said that about most of our managers, so maybe I have poor judgment. But I'm...

    Table since Matos took over

To be fair Leicester was in Premier league last year and yes they hadn't won in a while, but they have individual players who are better than this league. They still had alot to play for and we didn't.

    Table since Matos took over

I understand alot of people have concerns that we dip off etc. But like I did with Sheehan and every manager, irrelevant if that is blind loyalty and uneducated stand point. Im willing to give Matos benefit of the doubt. He needs a pre season and a window. Let's face it any pre season is better...

    Table since Matos took over

Some excuses from my end 😂. We have very little to play for and going against all teams who either trying to stay in the league or trying to get promotion. What gives me hope more than anything is this team showed real passion on Saturday and just didn't turn up. If we didn't have that I would...

    Ok, I'll say it.

    I'll give him a call 😁😜😜
  9. Swans Jack

    Ok, I'll say it.

It's a headache I imagine for Matos. Nunes played well the match before while Ronald as been declining. Then Nunes then goes and performs pretty bad.

    Sam Parker

I have 0 complaints. He has improved in his small time and is learning quick. Adds pace too. For me we got to keep him in first team now. Question is do we need a RB now?

    Table since Matos took over

I have started to hear rumbles from other sites too. And though many will state it's facts, that's are reported alot of critism about his tactics and negative approach is being questioned. I have someone I work with her says they like to sit on the fence. I call it a s*** stirer.
  12. Swans Jack

    Ok, I'll say it.

Stats don't lie but as Smurph mentioned the eyeball test. Widell presses that leads to winning the ball back by making the team make mistakes. He is unfortunate not to be on at least 4 goals this season. And sets tempo for the team. His performance on Saturday was brilliant, from his movement...
  13. Swans Jack

    Ok, I'll say it.

To be fair Widell sets the tone in the team. Galbraith is an excellent player. There is an argument for both players.
  14. Swans Jack

    Ok, I'll say it.

Widell is the first to celebrate any goal from the sub bench and always seems to be animated and standing on the bench. Get that goal and he is gonna be something special next season. I have 0 doubt.

    Our centre backs

That's why many including myself wonders if a player like Grimes can hack it in the Premier league. He won't get the time to doddle on the ball. To be fair to the Swans, we have massively sped up our game and yesterday against Southampton who was in the Premier league last season, we showed we...

    Our centre backs

100%. Pitty he messed us around. A player who can come out and is good on the ball. Honesty I am not trying to get on the Burgess bandwagon, and yes he has played every minute this season. But he was dreadful from the start with us with his passing. If he is still in defense next season then I...

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | QPR 1 Swansea City 2 | Att: 13,835 | Tuesday 21st April | The EFL Championship | Matrade Loftus Road

I said I would be positive so I'm going for 2-1 to Swans. Unchanged side other than - Cullen for Yalkouye or Walta.

    Our centre backs

It's almost like we need a Darling type of player. 😂
  19. Swans Jack

    Our centre backs

Burgess is the worst passer I can remember in our team. I can't remember 1 long pass he ever gets right. And always puts us in risk with his short passing. I don't see us changing our defense next season though. Even with Lissah Just don't see it.
