Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
For a while tonight Sheehan out witted Pep.
Lets carry on with how we started tonight on Saturday.
5 at the back gives us a better balance...swop Cabango for Samuel Smith Vip for Idah and maybe Stamenic for Franco..
I have been critical of Sheehan but tonight showed what we can do when...
Yep I was pleased we won.......but like big Sam said would have liked to see us get a few.more balls into the oppisitions box.....how many were there?....probably just 10.....maybe?
Yes but some of that is because some think Idah is a donkey and waste of space ....not that Sheehan was clueless.
As you say it was 1-1 we needed fresh legs and something to change things....damned if he did damnednif he didnt.
In fairness he could gave decidednto be mire defensive and settle...
Where has there been abuse of Sheehan ?
I have seen some criticism of his tactics etc but no personal abuse.
I like him..he has a humility we havent seen in any if our managers for a long time but the footabll he has presented us this season is different to that which got him the full time job...
Oh yes and at a guess have probably attended more than yoy have to date
I was there Wednesday night and yesterday even stayed to clap the players into the tunnel even afrer the poor showing against QPR
I admit I am not convinced about Sheehans leadership but I will support him and the team on...
I was pleased with the win...a win is a win...an difference early on with our attacking intent which led to Vips early goal Eoms one on one and Ronalds effort which came off the post...BUT we
thenn eemed to revert to type...or did Manning adjust his Norwich side to slow us down?
What I do...
Winning also excites fans something that has been rare this season.......there are some if us who have watched the Swans a lot longer than you....and seen some worse bilge under the likes if Harry Gregg but attractive football with results under Harry Griffiths ,Toshack
Other folks can have an...
Not at all....Andrew North Hill s post made out that Wrexhams manager hasnt a clue....
Lets trt to deal with facts not crap
Wrexham also beat Millwall.......no cherry picking as is said anyone can beat anyone in this league....and we are only a quarter of the way in lets keep bold statements...
Our 4 wins have come against the botrom 4 teams in the league.
We have struggled against thise teams around us.
Even Wrexham with all their new llayers to bed in managed draws away agajnst Boro ( actually going ahead) and at Leicester...the same Leicester who beat us at home a few days later...
So you dont think the coach has a say in acquisitions?
Whilst the data analysts may help with the identification of targets Im sure the coach has some say.
Its just the 21st century version of scouting, where spreadsheets and tablets have replaced the scribblings and notepads of scouts sat in...
So Burgess and Gailbraith fill the gaps of Darling and O'Brien...
So we should at least see similar performances as witnessed under Sheehan last season but we arent.
The attcking intent we saw has gone
The question has to be asked as to why Gailbraith is going backwards the same has been said...
Depends what his coach has instructed him to do.
From the start we seemed happy to stroke the ball sideways and backwards rather than look at forward options....
Second half we started to drive forwards as if the shackles had been taken off.
Much was made of our comeback to beat Forest when like...
