• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We were still dangerous down the other end! Should have wrapped the game up with another two goals at least. Go back to the cardiff board

……but I digress. What I saw yesterday was a world away from what I’ve been witnessing this season so far. Aggression , pressing and poitivity. Eom whom I’ve criticized was a revelation and the squad seem to be reacting positively to the new manager. It was nice to see widell having some game...

Oh dear. He’s having no impact on games, passing backwards and sideways and hiding between the centre halves? And you like this? Sado masochism is an unhealthy fixation!

Rose tinted Matty Grimes specs eh? He did bugger all as a mf or captain. His lack of effort was shockingly consistent . If he’s playing well now that’s down to him deciding to earn his money which he definitely didn’t do here, giving the middle finger to supporters like you who are too dumb to...

Darling was much more streetwise and aggressive. Carried Ben like a baby. We miss him.

He performs better box to box or 8. Putting Galbraith there nullifies his best qualities. Stamenic is a physical presence who call nip things in the bud further up the field (on his day). Saying that Fulton is probably the most reliable out of those two now.

Matt Grimes, Captain of Coventry City.

    Hypnosis? Witchcraft? We’ll never know.

No idea. But not one of those managers took him with them. Downes ended up with Martin and people said at the time that Grimes was the better player. Coventry aren’t promoted yet but if they manage to go up this season we’ll see how good he’d be in the PL .

Vitor Matos on West Bromwich Albion | Reaction

If the players are unfit due to 3 of the last 4 managers (Duff tried to get them better conditioned and where is he now ?) basically had them playing walking football. They will get fitter but it’s going to take about a month. I think he’s more positive than Sheehans/O’Dea but he needs the...

Matt Grimes, Captain of Coventry City.

Well you say he was wasted down here - why? He didn’t bust a gut nor did he lead the team whilst captain. He must have fooled you too with his hiding between the centre halves bullshit. He was well paid down here yet he couldnt be arsed. As a fan of the club since 1977 I find that very hard to...

    Matos’ Staff in Swansea

You say that but I’d have him in front of Stamenic on current form

Yes they have started both games much more positively and more aggressively. They aren’t fit which is much more their failure (and Sheehans) than his.

Matt Grimes, Captain of Coventry City.

He hid mate. Wouldn’t take on any responsibility while he was here. I’d say he’s got a manager who won’t put up with his bullshit and demands performances from him

Too many like Swanjax have still got a hardon over him bless. Perhaps they should fuck off and watch Coventry

Anyone think Sheehans obsession with only playing some players an hour was a result of poor match fitness or has it been a cause for poor match fitness? Sheehan and co should be shafted for their lack of conditioning

None of them are going to get the players conditioned in two months. At least Matos seems to be a good coach but he’s dealing with an unfit squad whose morale is on the floor.

Looks like we’ve done no fitness work for the past 3 or 4 seasons. Physically knackered means decision making goes out of the window. Poor Matos - if he steers this lot into mid table he’ll be manager of the season.
