• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Matt Grimes, Captain of Coventry City.

If the tempo from midfield is slow and passes delayed the opposition cut out any channels so it doesn’t matter what runs your forwards make they aren’t getting the ball. Galbraith nicked the ball and immediately sent Widdell down the left into space and his first time ball in was finished...

    Inoussa

I thought Widdell’s assist for Vipotnik was as good as you’ll see. First time and inch perfect. A strikers dream which none of our wingers have given him since he came here.

    Inoussa

Most if not all of the starters in the squad are unfit for this division. Those who only play bit parts must be even worse off. Give Matos time he will sort that issue out at least .

Portuguese ref ! Our luck is about to change! Stoke 0-8 Swansea (Vipotnik 7 penalties subbed H/T , Idah 1 penalty )

Aren’t you on one of those spec savers ads on t’telly??? Plus he’s got less humility that Donald Trump !

    Dressing room after Portsmouth.

Well he seems to have created a rapport with them and they are indisputably responding- long may it continue (even beyond the emphatic play off final victory over Coventry).

Feeling a bit daft because the manager from Portuguese second division with 12 games experience is turning us around? Go away and wipe that egg off your face

    Backroom staff

Yes they are on their way - Alano Sheehao, Darios Odea and Ricardo Stearmanao

    Eom

Two games in 3 days should mean Inoussa and Eom job sharing

Best of both worlds for me this afternoon - and congrats to Vitor: is he changing the culture ?

I have been one of his fiercest critics but he was fantastic on Saturday . If Matos has got him believing in himself (and some others) then he’s doing a great job already

True. Lower than a snakes hemorrhoids those lot

    The Ospreys

They wouldn’t be able to. If they did the ospreys could launch a massive lawsuit against them for restraint of trade. They could probably sue them for that anyway as the WRU bailed out cardiff so therefore they have a conflict of interest. Ditto Newport were bailed out by the WRU. They were kept...

    The Ospreys

It’s the “cardiff has to have everything” mantra again. They took first class cricket away and then they took the rugby. Their dream will be complete if the swans went bust. Such a weird time to be welsh - people voted for a stronger more independent Wales but all that’s happened is the...

Marko Stamenić on Oxford Utd | Reaction

Stamenic along with Eom really picked up this game. The whole team was two yards quicker in thought and action. Great to see

Cravatt Watches On With Work To Do As Swans Start Road To Recovery

We’ve got a perfectly good striker whom the players are too dumb to know how to supply. Any ball between the centre halves or centre halves and full backs either side and he’ll wallop it. It’s definitely not rocket science.

    Bazball football

I was trying to remember when I’d last enjoyed a performance of ours as much as yesterdays - must have been the end of last season.

    Bazball football

I totally agree - I think Matos is trying to shake off the walking football we’ve been subjected to for four years and I’m amazed how quickly this change is starting to appear. Great for the players and amazing from a new manager with none of his (chosen) backroom staff. I think we’ve found a...

    Bazball football

That’s a bit of an exaggeration with all due respect. They were chucking everything at us but in response, instead of sitting back and hoping for the best under Williams and Sheehan we aggressively went after a third goal and in honesty should have scored 4 goals.
