Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Burgess just isn't the answered. He was signed purely on experience alone.
No doubt on a big wage, I wouldn't be surprised if moves are made to actively try and move him on.
A good World Cup for him will likely help 🤞
Lino on west side was poor as well. Missed a few offsides including Vipotnik for us in the 2nd half.
It's becoming frustrating with these refs even with today's game which was a nothing game for us regards promotion or relegation.
Another note on the ref, fucking useless as he was.
2 of our players get fouled 1st half within seconds of each other-no card.
Stamenic a few minutes later with his first foul-yellow card.
Our bench were the most animated I have seen them this season.
Just back.
Thought we did ok overall and once again we have another ref who clearly favoured the opposition.
He bottled the pen, looked a stonewaller being at the game.
Couldn't make out the incident with Flynn Downes in the 1st half but thought a red might have come out for what I saw.
Nunes...
This Martin just seems to be another journeyman with a meh type of feel and with very bad recommendations from most Rovers fans.
If it does end up being this guy, god only knows what has fully gone on but it would suggest that Gorringe is the man the owners seem to be backing.
Know very little about him.
I remember being impressed with him down here at the start of the season when we played Plymouth.
He seems to have had a good season and looks like he is working his way back up the leagues.
Looks like a very decent replacement if Vipotnik does go
I agree that going into this summer we have a much stronger foundation in the squad than we have had for a few good summers.
It always felt that going into a summer where we have seen a Manager leave or even left during that season that we have always had to rebuild as such.
Recruitment has been...
The club has 2 choices this summer
1. Try and keep him and hopefully he carries on his good form.
2. Sell him, selling him in the summer is likely going to be at the maximum of his value giving the season he is having.
The club will likely being prefer 1 of those options more than the other.
Well let's hope that things are left as they are and we don't read anything else other than possibly a club statement. Anything else other than just a club statement will just be a narrative and not really needed and won't change anything.
Leave those battles to forum posters 😂
Would be in our best interest if any deduction came into place was for next season.
Its such a tough playing field and we are safe from relegation this season.
Sorry my screenshots are so poor.
According to the guy who runs vital football, he is normally spot on and suggests in this screenshot he was pushed out.
