    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Fair play… Parker grew into the game well. Looked very good going forward. Maybe Lissah, Key and Parker will be enough next season.

    Bloody hell Parker… that is awful. I’ve never understood so many fans calling for him to play. Whenever I’ve seen him he looked poor defensively.

    You can’t compare and contrast Idah’s finish with Melker’s chance… they were nothing like the same opportunity. It would have been a goal of the season contender had he found the back of the net hitting it first time from that position and angle

    It should have been Walta instead of Cullen … can’t say I’ve seen Cullen at all since he’s come on.

    We need VIP to score a few goals to keep his stock high and cash in on him in the summer. I still have the sense that he’s just had a very good season which won’t be replicated. And I’m not convinced he’s the sort of striker that actually suits matos and his system.

    I'm sure there's ways around it tho. Just look at Man City and Etihad. Etihad and Man City are both effectively owned by the State of UAE. Etihad's latest sponsorship deal with Man City is thought to be in the region of £1 billion... way over market value.
