• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

    Stop the boats

Or the first safe country they get to. How come it's mainly single males between 14 and 30 , aren't there families and women and children needing to escape as well?

    Loan Players 25/26

We definitely need better loan players in for next season, players that can have some impact on improving our first team . Coopers loan players were excellent, most of last seasons may have stayed at their original clubs , we hardly had any benefit from them.

    Where will people be posting

Absolutely, most of the real characters in sport and life in general are one sandwich short of a picnic , me included.

Joint 10th place (11th on GD)

I agree , it can work the other way , Brentford and Coventry are fine examples. On the flip side of that there's Bristol City and the likes, been planning for the Premier League for what seems an eternity and are still nowhere near it. There's Leeds( James and Piroe) Coventry ( Grimes , Bidwell...

Joint 10th place (11th on GD)

Is that the same project we started when we appointed Russell Martin? 4 seasons later we are still in the same position. Unless you can hold on to your better players to build a team around ( and generally we haven't, Piroe , Downes, Ntcham, Wood, James, to name a few) then mid table it will...

Joint 10th place (11th on GD)

Yes, on goal difference, but still 11th. If we had finished 7th on goal difference would we be in the play offs?

Joint 10th place (11th on GD)

They absolutely were the target, finished same position in the table and 3 points better off than last season. Sure the owners were expecting more considering the outlay in the summer . It's been another disappointing season, with not even a sniff of reaching the play offs.

Joint 10th place (11th on GD)

We finished 11th, close but no cigar.

***SATURDAY*** Swans Superstore Super Sale!!! Be There or Be Square!

Wonder how many people were put off spending money by the ridiculous queues that were there. Club really need to sort it out, it's so bloody amateurish. For goodness sake, we are in the 2nd tier of English football, not some Isthmian league.

Did you seriously expect anything else? It's run like a league 2 outfit.

    Galbraith

No other team wanted Fulton, he was lucky he found a club paying him decent wages for doing basically sweet F A for so long before Matos arrival. That's why he kept his head low .

    Galbraith

Most people that have seen him play this season have agreed he's a fantastic player and a great prospect, so why would the club offer him a ridiculous pay rise, having just sorted out a decent one for Vipotnik. If the club have offered him a measly increase then they are wholly to blame for...

The last game of last season .

You are absolutely correct about the cycle of the last 4 seasons, generally finish well and everyone with their what ifs and buts. What they are saying about Matos now they were saying about Sheehan this time last year. Hope Matos carries on next season what he has done this season as it's been...

The last game of last season .

And yet position wise and points wise there hasn't been a great deal of improvement or progress.

    Cov v Wrexham on itv

It certainly is, though i would be extremely surprised if QPR were to trouble Ipswich at Portman Road .

    Cov v Wrexham on itv

Even if Ipswich lose at Southampton, they should beat QPR at home on last day of the season which will be enough to see them promoted.

    Eom

Because if he performed like the last 5 games for the majority of the season we may have achieved more this season. That's why it's too late, look at his stats and tell me I'm wrong.

    Eom

Unfortunately seasons aren't decided over 5 games, what are his stats for the previous 39 games ? They are shocking that's what they are, 1 goal and 1 assist i think prior to our last 5 games. We really need our wingers to be contributing more than that. He did the same last season, looked a...
