• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

    A Tactical Masterclass! 😲😂

This is why you should be wary of employing Badgies. They all lap up this shite.

That's fair, if they do know for sure.

The right fit. He was what they needed, but not what we needed. Like Brits for us, not for SU. Edit replying to M128 about Grimes, just to make sure I don't confuse Daz.

Flynn Downes - Missed Red Card Offence

It is all very flawed. Imagine, say, we were in contention against Ipswich for auto and now as well as robbing us on the day, they would deprive us by benefitting Ipswich. It's impossible to avoid unintended consequences. Ditto if a player is sent off in the last minute. The team offended...

The only living person that will ever really know, is her. It won't stop others 'knowing', obviously.

Flynn Downes - Missed Red Card Offence

I'm afraid that ship has sailed. In its other context, I abhor the eradication of the word 'attack' or 'attacking'. I stand by my view that despite being sometimes likeable - though less so since 2015 - yanks ruin everything they touch, from food to football.

Cameron Burgess is very seasoned and often roasted.

    JackArmy.net - Twenty-Five Years And Out

Strange to say, but results will feel much less important without you headers to bat it around with afterwards. I’m not doing other sites or twatter, so this is my own Swan Song too. I’ll just get tae f**k. I might have to go to games more regularly to annoy those around me. On the plus...

Exactamundo. If we open a vein over a goalkeeping 'coach', we must be in a pretty poor state.

That's his best song I think, but I loved his version of Conway Twitty's 'Only make Believe' in the early 70s. Rhinestone Cowboy, not so much.

That dirty giraffe necked centre back, plus Grimesy, in the PL? End of days.

    Millwall

My Miwaw mate is very excited. The Farage Fluffers are probably still slight favourite, even with Southampton to play. Also Millwall have thrown points away when in pole position, recently losing to Blackburn and Delias at home and drawing with WBA

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | QPR 1 Swansea City 2 | Att: 13,835 | Tuesday 21st April | The EFL Championship | Matrade Loftus Road

Felt like it should have been more comfortable than a dodgy penalty (Hurray!!) to win it. We gave up a bit after that. Promising signs, but three things I hope for next season. 1) When facing forward in space, go forward. We did it some times and we looked so different. 2) No more back to...

    Keir Starmer

The only resigning matter is lying to the House. He didn't. He clearly did not know, and the jury is even out on whether the "process" allowed him to know. Not that that'll make any difference. the pitchforks are out and the torches lit. He might as well be playing on the wing for us...

The last thing we need in a meaningless end of season game is a loanee that will be gone in two weeks for a permanent player that needs game time.
