• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Rugby Cup Final .

Leinster are basically Ireland too, so it has an amusing angle.

    Championship Playoff

Yep, awful game and some really dreadful players. Hull are so anti football and have a mouthy arsepiece as an owner, so I wouldn't be sorry to see them turned over. Then again Boro shouldn't really be there in pure football terms. So, don't know, don't care. Bring on tomorrow's relegation scrap.

    The Benefits System

The biggest part of the benefits bill is pensions. Lazy old bastards.

    Championship Playoff

I don't think they have any justification at all. They were by a long way the worst of the four play off teams over the season, and the proper competition disciplinary rules and procedures were followed.

    Championship Playoff

I know this is pointless thinking, but are these two teams really better than us?

Even though Hull had beaten them home and away? Misplaced entitlement. If instead of assuming they would win, and assume they would lose, the penalty is trifling. Should have been 15 points.

I read somewhere it counts quite heavily against them should they transgress in any way in future. Not sure if that is accurate or not.

    Some Nice Weather Coming

I'm running the Wells 10k on Sunday, kicks off at 11. The one day I don't want to see sunny 🙄 I also have the Swansea Half on 7 June, where my 67 year old self will be trying to beat my 56 year old self. Not hopeful, especially if it ends up hot.

That's a nonsensical argument though isn't it? The EFL think it is such a big issue that they put a specific law in place to outlaw it. It's not as if it's some ancient arcane hidden sub clause. It was really high profile because they couldn't punish Leeds as they wanted because the law...

    Ospreys

I think they’re in camp the week before, but not sure. The quote was from a real Cardiff rugby nerd, so probably right.

From elsewhere Ospreys v Cardiff On a Saturday night in October at 19:45 One week before Wales play Japan, so no Wales internationals playing. This league is a crock of shit.

Hull have beaten them home and away in the regular season. Interesting though. We have loads of players in that case that could sue the club for appointing Russell Martin.

    Southampton

That’s ridiculous. They haven’t been promoted. The club should sue the players for not getting auto.
