• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

    The Season’s Conclusion

I agree about the mental side, but it's very difficult to change. So many times last night I was shouting at the TV through frustration, even our good moves and passes were seconds slow. The only way I can describe it is that too many of our players just want to play a game and not enough to...

    The Season’s Conclusion

Agree what we need and what see get will be different. Without a good few leaving there won't be the.finance available to build on the work Matos has started. I just hope his enthusiasm and personality isn't the only thing that has started the turnaround.

    The Season’s Conclusion

It is all about preparing for next season. we don't have the squad to play the high intensity style that Matos says he wants. Even allowing for a pre season of conditioning and fitness we have many players I believe can't make the step up. money availability will be the driver but we need a...

Well as I posted on Tuesday we got the 6 points. Today was definitely a what if game, but reality our season is done. The 2-0 scoreline flatters them but they do what they do. Problem being is we did what we do. It could have been so different if we took those early chances and again should...

Also as much as we'd want to keep them the money if spent wisely could strengthen the team overall.

Well I got what I wanted. 6 points from the two games. The chance to kill the game off early in the second half would have been fully deserved. It seemed as.If we then started to play within ourselves and Portsmouth started to win the balls we were winning. After they scored we seemed to go into...

    US and Iran

A bit like this. Use your influence with Iran and then I can tell Ukraine that I can't supply any more arms as I need to replenish USA stockpile

    Colours Nailed and all that

We are an ok team and have seen some improvement under Matos where relegation shouldn't be a threat this season even though the next 6 matches are very difficult. The squad consists of players who aren't capable of playing a high tempo game, now that could be down to pre season fitness and...

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

Galbraith at full back was needed at the time but only as an emergency fix. His talents are wasted there and at times can be a liability especially when he wanders into midfield without the necessary cover. As already posted its getting the right balance in midfield is the problem going forward.
