• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Josh Ginnelly

He did well at Hearts which is what I must have remembered. Accept he didn't do much at Preston. Nevertheless, given all the crap players we've had over the last few years who have contributed very little, I thought it was very strange to focus on a player who suffered a really nasty injury...

    Dirty Filthy Humming

It's been off and on for a while but more recently it's literally every single day. In the photos Darren posted, they've been burning stuff like Freezers, Furniture, Mattresses - god knows what shit is in that stuff being released into the atmosphere. If you go a mile away from that site as...

Council have already earmarked £115k towards expanding their site and paying for toilet and shower blocks for them. Absolutely unbelievable

    Dirty Filthy Humming

The "race card" has been played on numerous occasions already. As far as I'm concerned, they can live on a campsite in their caravans, do whatever it is that do, don't bother sending their kids to school.. whatever. Each to their own. Ultimately in the same way I don't care what my next door...

Awful news. One of my favourite posters here. RIP

    Dirty Filthy Humming

I have some mates and family who live around there Darren and I'm in a few of the local groups and it's absolutely ridiculous. The scale of these fires is incredible. The council has been pretty much useless, telling the local residents to report each and every occurrence, as if it's not...

    The Summer Transfer Window Thread

If you'd told me in February that we'd be in September in this sort of shape I'd have never believed it. In my mind we've only been going in one direction pretty much since relegation however this window has totally changed the direction of travel. I'd be delighted if we have a solid top 10...

    Josh Ginnelly

I have to say I was very surprised to see this site's tweet about Ginnelly going and how critical it was of him. I thought he looked promising before his injury and he's had a decent track record at this level in the past.

    The Summer Transfer Window Thread

Bit disappointed with the window if I'm honest. I used to enjoy coming on here in the week after it closed to read the meltdowns and the obligatory thread on which free agents are available. Feels like all this has been taken away from us. What are we going to discuss for the next week and a half?

    The Summer Transfer Window Thread

He doesn't exactly play it down. I've always thought "I don't talk about other teams players" is basically admitting interest

    The Summer Transfer Window Thread

Agree. I think that's almost more important than goals at the moment. We clearly need a fulcrum who can help us utilise the pace out wide and help us create chances

Perhaps Idah is a decent option given where we are. 6ft 3.. Although I know nothing about him

    Apologies

I can't see it either. I can't start my morning properly unless I've read Daps listing what positions we need and linking us to a player from Belgium

    Žan Vipotnik - Swansea’s Number 9

Let's be honest - our transfer 'policy' has been dreadful for years. And that's biting us on the arse now. This is the first window in a long time where it actually feels we've upgraded our squad

    Žan Vipotnik - Swansea’s Number 9

Or maybe just not a striker in a system with two wide wingers and no number 10 to speak of?

    Žan Vipotnik - Swansea’s Number 9

Cullen coming in for some justifiable stick. How dare he not win a ball in the air at 5ft 10 and be unable to hold the ball up surrounded by at least two big defenders. Dreadful. We didn't play to his strengths at all... with predictable results. I'm not saying he's a world beater but he's got...
