• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

    Cameron (Brainless) Burgess

Agree with you about Doyle. Tough job to find someone that good this summer without breaking the bank like Wrexham did for Doyle - fee could rise to £7.5m, plus a buyback clause and 25% of any sale. We would desperately need the club to identify more of a Galbraith signing than a Burgess or an...

    1989: Bin day in Swansea

Proof here: https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/local-news/how-swansea-became-tesco-town-15259298 It doesn't say when the Kingsway store closed, but does state the Oystermouth Road store opened in 2000, so would have been around the same time. Edit: I think Google is getting confused with a...

    1989: Bin day in Swansea

Second person here saying Google AI is definitively wrong on this one. I was a student at Swansea University from summer 1998 and the Tesco on the Kingsway was definitely still open and the Oystermouth Road store wasn't built. We'd go into town from Hendrefoilan and either shop there or at...

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Portsmouth 1 Swansea 2 | Att: 18,508 (536 Jacks) | 10.03.26 | The EFL Championship | Fratton Park

Somebody the other day used Vipotnik's lack of assists for evidence of how he wasn't an all-around good player. That ball to Ronald won't show up on the stat sheet, but was sublime as you say. He also should have had an assist against Preston if Yalcouye had finished better and another against...

Last I saw was Idah expected back sometime this month and Inoussa sometime in April. That was a while ago, so no idea if still on schedule or not.
