• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

He didn't, the first yellow was actually given to Gimenez (Uruguay's number 2) for dissent

    Well look at that! 😎

😂 no it's not, it came from the guy who cuts Cullen's hair. Could well be rubbish but he's either been told it by Cullen or another player

    Zan Vipotnik

I heard last week (via a hairdresser) that Vipotnik's in talks over an improved contract

Bring Lissah and Congreve back into the squad next season to take the places of Ward and Nunes

It'll be funny watching him retreat further and further backwards to try to get some time and space on the ball in the PL

Two teams finished on 100 points last season, the season before had a team with 97 and another with 96. Ipswich have a game in hand on Middlesbrough, if they win it they'll be second Edit: reading your post again, you said teams relegated from the Premier League so just the one 100 point team...

You literally said he's "an actual RB" and "he's played there more than any position in his career". What if he's moved back into midfield after today and keeps racking up the numbers in midfield? I'm not sure he'll play many more games at RB, at least he shouldn't anyway as it's a waste of his...

    65 appearances as an 8, 51 as a 6, 46 as a 10 and 58 as a RB. You keep saying he's a RB rather than a midfielder, that's not true

I wasn't talking exclusively about today, more about the other games where he's wasted at RB

Ipswich are obviously a much better team but it is baffling to see our best midfielder constantly being played at RB, especially as we saw the difference he made when he moved into midfield for the second half on Tuesday. There are two RBs on the bench, play one of them and put Galbraith back...

    Matt Grimes (not Jamie)

Being generous to Vipotnik there, as recently as last summer most people wanted him sold. He scored 7 goals in 44 games last season

A Panenka .. is it worth it ?

Danny Murphy said whenever he was taking a penalty late in a game (or in a shootout), he'd tend to go straight down the middle because the keeper will always want to be a hero so was practically guaranteed to dive left or right

    Some thoughts after yesterday’s game

I've said before, it's as if that announcer works from home and doesn't actually watch the games. Even games like Ipswich where we lost 4:1 and the fans were booing throughout, he comes on the tannoy straight after the final whistle all upbeat, thanks everyone for their magnificent support and...
