    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    You can be an attacking midfielder from a central position though, which is where I'd have him playing (with Franco behind). He looked a bit lost out wide yesterday, quite awkward when the ball came to him on the touchline

    Why can't Franco do that job? Him scuttling around with Widell and Galbraith ahead of him is our best midfield in my opinion. If we bring in another starting midfielder, which of them misses out?

    It was odd to see Widell playing from the left, he struggled to get involved much. I think we would have looked better with Franco, Galbraith and Widell in midfield, Ronald LW and Inoussa RW

    The one he hit straight at the keeper? I did say I may have forgotten one 😂 They're going to be playing PSG next season, while we'll be playing Charlton so context is very important in terms of the standard of opposition today. As someone else said, they were just sharper than us all over the pitch

    So we're just talking about the first 15 minutes of the second half then? In which time we failed to score (I don't remember us having a shot either but I may be wrong) and we only scored from a penalty which was won immediately after they made 3 subs

    It was partly that but mostly that Lorient were 3:0 up and took their foot off the gas, as well as replacing almost their whole team

    Yeah, that's why I didn’t count the 1 against Cheltenham. The opposition today are very good, they won the French second division last season, so a loss isn't too surprising (although it would be good to avoid a hammering). More concerning for me is the fact we've played games against sides...

    Galbraith and Widell both outstanding but seem to only want to pass to each other. Still no goals scored in pre-season, apart from the 2 x 60 minute games against Stevenage. The style of play is still far too negative, has Cullen had a touch yet? Hopefully we'll improve as the new players...

    I'm not sure, but when transfer budgets are quoted, they usually only refer to the cost of buying the players. Wage budgets are normally a separate issue
