Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
I did only look back over the last few pages to be fair so I didn't read the OP.
We're almost certainly safe now, there are too many other teams between us and the bottom 3 for us to be dragged into it
United employed about 400 more staff than any other Premier League club, the workforce was bloated and needed to be streamlined to reduce costs on that side of the business. The fault lies with those who allowed the costs to spiral, not with those who are having to bring them back into line...
The fact that so many people say things like "to me, The Swansea Way means..." just shows it's a completely meaningless phrase, which can be applied to various definitions to suit (see also "High Performance")
I've said since the start of the season that I'd expect us to finish somewhere between 12th and 16th. Anything higher and we'll have done well, anything lower and Williams should be getting his coat
I just looked at his stats since coming on.
He's played 18 minutes, had 16 touches and completed 16 out of 16 passes. So that suggests every single touch was a first time "safe" pass, just what he did here
Any manager who can change things during a game to positively affect the outcome would be a massive improvement on Williams. He sets out his tactics at the start of a game and doesn't change them, regardless of how the game is going.
It was clear after about 20 minutes on Saturday that the...
I'm sure there are many reasons why we couldn't get deals over the line, January is a very hard time to do business after all.
Let's wait and see what Coleman's plans are for the summer window, he'll be telling us in the next few days.
I have no doubt that contracts are being prepared for...
Both Coleman and Williams using exactly the same "opportunity, not a threat" line to describe Grimes leaving, was it written by AI or do they just have the same person writing both their pieces? :ROFLMAO:
It happens all the time with players, you often hear "player x has agreed personal terms with club y, now club y just needs to agree a transfer fee with club z".
Players and agents will talk and figures will be thrown around so heads will be turned. Agents often get blamed for trying to move...
I'm not sure it's anything as complicated as that.
I reckon Coventry just approached Grimes (I heard him and Lampard have the same agent?) and offered him a big pay rise, Grimes decided it was too good a deal to turn down and the players rightly feel annoyed that their captain has decided to...
