• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We undoubtedly have a stronger squad this season than we did last, even with less bods.

Think this game has converted me against Vip. This was a game for him to show what he can do and try and put himself ahead of Cullen, but he didn't lok like he could be bothered all game.

The performance has been miles better than the corresponding fixture last season imo. If that is any indication then we are in for a great season.

    Kit release?

I think it is very funny myself, although I wish they kept the post to the picure and just wrote "Dogg included", tagging people directly comes off as desparate.

    New Kit

Didn't they reveal the Joma training kit a couple of weeks ago? Can't imagine we'd have separate kits distributors for training and matchday.

Selfish move for their own profile. In practical terms, in a FPTP system you vote against someone rather than for them. Splitting the left wing vote and effectively leaving the front door of downing street open for Reform because Labour don't fit your ideological purity is morally bankrupt. Have...

    Hull City transfer embargo

I don't say this from a place of jealousy, but for the sake of clubs there really needs to be league wide salary caps. Too many clubs are destroying themselves in a bid for the promised land, and on top of that, once they are there they have no long term benefit because the extra revenue is...

Turki Alashikh, Bristol City takeover revelation ...

Do we I haven't seen anything concrete about the net worth of people in the consortium. Would love to be put wrong if you have the reading material though 😂

Swansea City Have Parted Ways with Head Coach Luke Williams

It is mad that some will judge him for this. The payoff from the sacking would probably be enough to be mortgage free. That coupled with a wage from a normal job would still be a better standard of living than most.

    Lineker Gone

See also the level of coverage Reform get in comparison to the Lib Dems, who have far more seats.

    Grimes...

I have a feeling we'll have a better season than Coventry next season. Think Grimes' "style" is going to infect the rest of the team and make them go backwards.

    Zeidane Inoussa

He frustrates me with his end product sometimes. It is hard not to like a player who starts on the right wing and somehow bombs it back to cover left back when Tymon has found himself stranded.

    Kukharevych

We can surely get our money back for Yates. Can't see Derby quibbling over a couple of million when he has been one of their best players.

    Local elections

The current iteration of the Labour party are entirely driven by centrist pragmatism, people who believe otherwise are not operating in reality.

    Local elections

Any loathing has more to do with propaganda than anything they have actually done. I can understand disagreeing with certain policies, but nothing they have actually done has been extreme enough to warrant the vim they get from Reform types. They are driven entirely by what they want to believe...

    Zeidane Inoussa

I still think Vip will come good with consistent service. We'll keep two of the other four, likely the latter two. However, I would be interested to see how Kuharevych and Yates would do in a more forward thinking side.

    Local elections

My worry is that the numpties that vote for them will not hold them accountable. The impact of their vote would need to be unbelievably severe to make them wake up, and while they deserve every bit of hardship that will come their way, plenty of innocents will be hurt as a consequence.
