• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We've got the depth in the squad to compete with prem teams, it is going to be a good season.

Isn't the rate of knife crime higher per capita in the states as well?

If you are referring to exclusion zones I have to say that I agree with them. They are an even handed solution to the issue imo, people get to have their view but women are protected from harrassment when they are in an already vulnerable state. Some American politicians use them to try and...

'oh I'm too busy with work, let's have a termination'. This is such a stupid argument, nobody is using abortions as contraceptive outside of the fringest of cases. Most will be doing it because they are in a terrible situation and deserve enormous sympathy rather than condemnation. I get why...

My thoughts exactly. I am most interested in what the "new strategy" is.

I kind of get where you are coming from but I don't think it will work. Most of the people who support these movements operate entirely on vibes and don't really care about people's actual positions. Keir Starmer is the least ideological and pragmatic PM we have had for some time, but to the...

The administration he supported is without any shadow of a doubt an authoritarian one that is leaning into Fascism. Calling them Nazi's is silly when an accurate description is available.

Exactly. There was not a peep from these people when Democratic lawmakers were assasinated just a couple of months ago. They just kept stoking the fires to divide people and now someone from their side has been burned they want to call out divisive rhetoric. I find it impossible to have sympathy...

    Raising Funds

A stadium lease is nothing like a normal property lease. The club has about a 30 year lease left at around £300,000 a year rent. Unless the club is able to get the stadium relatively cheaply it would not make financial sense to buy. There will be no worries about the lease running out, there...

    Vipotnik - Sell Or Keep?

I'm not a fan of replacing Vip with Idah. I'd rather go with what we have got and keep the money we have to reassess in Jan or next summer.

Please actually try this time Vip, so I can feel better about us not getting a striker in.

On the other hand, surely we're now due a diamond :ROFLMAO:

    Promotion This Season ?

I would be happy with a top 8 finish. Any talk of promotion ignores how strong the likes of Ipswich, Soton, Leicester, Birmingham etc are, as well as clubs that were in a similar position to us that have also massively strengthened, such as QPR.

Agreed, through Cooper/Martin/Williams i'm tired of "tame" selections. With the current striker situation, if now is not the time for a brave selection then when will be?
