Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
I'd suggest that it will have little to no affect on our finances in the short to medium term, so unlikely to help us with signing established players. It might make unknown prospects slightly more likely to sign for us and will hopefully help grow our profile and get us better commercial deals...
Looking extremely light in midfield and defence. Allen and Naughts could cover some numbers if they are sensible about the contract, but we would still need a few more across these positions including at least two starters as I cannot see Darling extending or us forking out for O'Brien again.
If he keeps these sorts of results up to the end of the season then the job is probably his. I wouldn't be making any decisions before then though. As well as he has done, he needs to prove consistency. I do find it odd that people want to give him the job after a few games. We need to get away...
I'm sure someone who has never made a charitable contribution in their life will be along shortly to call him a champagne socialist for being a little bit left wing.
Exactly, Delcroix looked a better player when starting in Darling's place and that should be all that is taken into consideration given that they are both essentially in the same situation with us contract wise.
They are clearly the best team in the division. You wonder what might have been with so many former Swans in their ranks. I'd argue Sunderland were second and Burnley third. Sheffield United do not deserve to go up at all.
As much as the "underdog" spiel they have been claiming annoys me I do hope they come up. I've a feeling (maybe copium), that we will be a lot stronger next season and will continue our rightful spot as the best team in Wales.
I'd rather prepare and have nothing happen that the opposite tbh. As far as I am concerned, the democratic world now has large hostile states on both sides, it would be negligence not to prepare.
Not always, of course it is absolutely valid to deconstruct someone argument if they are using it as a basis to do something harmful. I am going by what I was like and others I have known. I used to get a kick out of "proving" people wrong, did I make the world a better place when I did that or...
I do personally believe they are nonsense on a factual level, but I have come around to your point of view as i've gotten older. Sometimes people just need something to give them meaning and get them through life. I find that people who want to take that away from others to score points to be...
