    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Great post. The flanks make up a very sizeable portion of the pitch. For a team that dominates the ball so much, never to use it was maddening. They were still like robots against Plymouth, wide players making the runs and we either weren’t willing to make the pass or when we did, go with them...

    Pace was always the key, A) because we never had anyone to pass to and B) as we posed no threat, the opposition were always happy to commit men forward and stay on the front foot. It looks like it’s given the whole team a lift.

    A miserable thought: We’ve conceded 48 goals by the first week of Feb and our only realistic contender for a nomination for player of the year is our young goalie, who is on loan.

    I’ve calmed down a bit now. I don’t normally get so agitated or slag individual players. I think the fact that I’ve been begging for pace and adventure for so long, and when we get it, we don’t know how to use it, sent me on a mini Michael Douglas in Falling Down. I think LW knows what’s wrong...

    There was a moment in the first half, one nil down, just had 2/3 attacks and Ronald had them on the ropes. Ronald won a throw in and tried to take it quickly, Jay walked towards him and told him to slow it down. The old fella behind us shouted “Don’t listen to him mun!!!”

    Managed to get seats behind the dugout for that game. He shouted and screamed at players the whole game. I’m quick enough to point out the awful body language of some, only fair I point out him giving it some ooomph in a terrible game.

    I only saw the last 10mins of the first half. On two occasions we got the ball to the edge of their box and were in 2 on 2/3 scenarios. Both resulted in us moving the ball back to Rushworth.
