• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Drives me absolutely effn bonkers. I’ve even emailed bbc and itv. Both didn’t even have the courtesy to reply. 🎼”We hate Cardiff and we hate Cardiff, we are the Cardiff haters !”

I agree, Stoke will be a good test against a decent side. It’s hard to argue against 6 pts from 2 games, but I thought our lack of playing through the thirds of the pitch, with precision passing was a concern. We couldn’t really string 5 passes together, before hitting long hopeful balls. I had...

Can’t possibly knock 6 pts, and 2 clean sheets, and they kept going to the end. The manager’s substitutions won us that game between 2 poor sides. I couldn’t go, so had the Portsmouth commentary on, as can’t stand ours. One of their ex players said “Swansea pass pass pass at the back, then kick...

    The Ospreys

It seems redevelopment efforts are unlikely to proceed. Swansea Cricket Club have transitioned to using the Bishop Gore playing field on Sketty Lane, which is funded by the council, while The Whites are currently playing at Dunvant RFC. It appears the taxpayers in Swansea may have avoided...

Was told today The Ospreys are to be no more. WRU have advised Ospreys’s backers to put their money into Cardiff. Employees have been told to look elsewhere for work.

The amount of kudos it brings for British expertise and technology, not to mention jobs, is phenomenal. Most of the top teams are based in Britain, with British highly skilled engineers, with a lot of the tech going into the cars we drive. Plus the new World Champion is British 🇬🇧 So SIUYA to...

just a thought. As we were the only team in the league, not to have scored from a set piece, was the ball to the back post for Stamenic’s goal a planned move ?

This guy wants the high press, but no way can we keep that up for 90+mins. Two things I don’t want to see today. Less than 100% for The Shirt, and Fulton starting.

    Matos’ Staff in Swansea

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Not only have the owners taken a chance on an untried 2nd division (with crowds of 600) Portuguese coach, they also seem to have not done their due diligence on his 3 right hand men. What a complete and utter clusterfek that would be !! If that turns out...

I couldn’t agree with you more. Our recruitment setup totally lacks football intelligence and football nous. The buck always stops with the head honchos. We are at this moment in time, in headlong free fall towards relegation, and 100% of that is down to vital decisions they have previously...

Ronald is absolutely effin useless. Stealing a living. And if the powers to be can’t recognise that him, Key, Cullen Eom and a few others, then we’re toast.

Ronald, Benson, Key, Eom and occasionally a few others are all the same. Effin useless. The transfer turned out to be not half as good as I thought at the beginning of the season

    Are the players giving everything?

Thing is, who’s going to come in for our “dead wood” like him, Ronald, Eom, Key ect ? We never seem to have anyone trying to beat down our doors, to take them off our hands. To be honest, I’m starting to get somewhat worried, about our squad. Does anyone think we have enough quality to go up...
