Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
I think you are definitely correct that one of our biggest issues is we do not have a clear plan/style.
It’s my opinion only but I’m not a fan of changing the way we play based on the opposition.
We set up with Graham Potter & to an extent Russell Martin to dictate the game on our own basis...
Whoever decided to spend £9million on Idah deserves the sack
Would love to know what scouting was done on him to suggest he was going to improve this team
As much as it’s a sad reason of absence - I think we could benefit from Stamenic not being in the side today. Franco & Galbraith in the deeper 6 roles with room for Widell or Cullen further forward would mix things up a bit
Crazy to think Galbraith who’s pretty much had 7 Man of the Match performances in a row is dropped
I suppose I do see some logic in it with resting some players but still think we should be starting our best players.
Innousa should be starting too in my opinion
Good options off the bench tho
I may be in the minority but I thought we played well & enjoyed the game
Every team we have played against this season look decent which I think backs up how stronger the league is
We aren’t going to get many easy games this year
Hopefully we’ll have a few fresh faces in the starting 11 today - Inoussa, Cabango & Vigoroux.
We seemed quite lethargic during the Hull game which I guessed would be because 5 of our starting 11 had been on International duty.
Hopefully we’ll have recovered from that now but hard ask 3rd...
I did think a few weeks back I wonder if he feels there’s too many people stepping on his toes
Talks of Modric speaking with Deli Alli etc maybe too many people getting involved in decisions
I remember he had a previous username to Blaze - and vaguely remember him asking Phil to change to this and he went through a stage of trying out different usernames 😂 what was his original username?
RIP never met but one of my favourite posters on here.
I enjoyed the match
Thought everyone had a decent game - apart from Cullen who just couldn’t get into the game. Not sure if that’s his fault or as a collective we didn’t help him
Again thought Galbraith & Burgess had great games
Inoussa & Widell both look really good players. Agree they...
Has it been said how long Santos & Cabango are out for?
If it’s only for 1 or 2 games are we better off coping with Fulton rather than using our limited budget on another CB who is unlikely to see any game time once both are back.
In an ideal world we should be looking for a utility player...
