• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

One of a family of skinheads I was at school with spent many games half out of one of the windows of the prison following matches. Or so the legend went.

I honestly am not looking for a fight. You joined a few weeks ago (September) with some really strident and very negative opinions from the get-go and it's not usual for a newbie on forums like this one to suddenly appear with no history and become immediately very active unless they are either...

These days they give us TVs, the internet, drugs delivered by drones, room service. It's brilliant. They even let us out for the odd away match.

I'm making up "concoctions?" OK, maybe you are from Penlan after all (and I say this as a Blaenymaes boy). LMAO.

I was watching the game. Every time we put a cross in one of their massive defenders would head the ball away before any of our non-massive forwards got anywhere close. It was a futile exercise even if the quality of the balls had been better. That was my point. What was your point? That they...

That was all bollocks, of course, I am 85 posts from getting my Player Name, so any excuse to bulk up my numbers. In reality I wonder why you and the other miserabilists are still bothering to turn up on here.

Thank you for your honesty. I have always found your posts to be insightful and I am sorry we differ on this one point.

Seriously, no point putting crosses in with a defence like that. We either need to shoot from range or go through the middle and draw a penalty.

In all seriousness, this manager has had what - one training session with his players? Get some perspective.
