• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Burnley & Birmingham step up to Academy Cat 1

https://trainingground.guru/birmingham-celebrate-return-to-category-one/ Considering our U21's convincingly beat both teams this season, is it a sign of no ambition or a lack of finance from our owners. Included in the article is the following, A number of other clubs have also applied for...

    Offside law

The last decade or so has seen the game's rules tinkered with out of all proportion but in reality has the game improved. No. Apart from goal line technology cheating in various forms is on the increase. The ongoing shirt tugging at a set piece increases without being penalised, foul throws are...

    Finances

I dare say we could get more cash for front of shirt advertising but would that affect what we pay for sharing Fairwood Training Ground.

Joey Allen into a coaching role ..

Considering that Newport have the lowest playing budget in the EFL I would be very surprised if Jenkins would pay Joey the going rate, especially if he is struggling to pay the wage demands of experienced players to strengthen the playing squad. In recent weeks County were struggling to include...

Time to be positive? A forgettable season ends with some good signs

Found the Eom interview interesting when he stated how he struggled with the physicality of the Championship and also a lack of confidence at times. No doubt he will be a better player next season but also will be more closely marked by the opposition. As for Wales and Inoussa, both early...

Josh Tymon on Oxford United | Reaction

Both Ronald and Eom have been good in covering Tymon and Key in recent weeks and no doubt Placheta couldn't wait to get on the field and use his electric pace to attack the lack of cover.

    Harry Darling …

Darling under previous managers always gave me the impression there was always going to be periods in the game when he made silly mistakes, but under Sheehan he appears to have tightened his game up, while another plus in his game is that he offers a serious threat in the opposition penalty area...

Hi there, A long time member on SCFC2 since the Gary Martin and Dai Smith days and like other new members disappointed to see the site closed down so clinically. Nevertheless life goes on to follow the ups and downs of the Swans.
