    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Indeed. The problem that Matos has is that Widdell can't keep that up for 90 minutes on Saturday/Tuesday/Saturday. The replacements need to be as high intensity as Widdell is. That's a problem going forward.

    You never know at this stage of the season. Portsmouth looked in deep trouble and then won at Middlesbrough and home to Ipswich keeping two clean sheets. Then beat Leicester to put the cherry on top. It's a funny old game.

    He needs to improve his stats obviously but anyone who's watched Cooper and Widdell can see without doubt that the latter is a far better player.

    Starmer's so bad it makes me yearn for Johnson and Truss and May and Cameron. On second thoughts it doesn't. I'll take him over any of those even though he's not very good at politics.

    He was only 20 just before Christmas. He’s getting better and better and with this season under his belt I believe he’ll push on. Other views are just as valid.

    I would ask about Yalcouye on loan again next season. I doubt Brighton will need him in the Premier League.

    Promoted teams seem to need to spend very well and lots to survive these days. Sunderland spent loads and spent well after scraping up and have done very well. Burnley haven’t spent loads and, despite getting 100 points in the Championship, never looked like staying up.

    Great memories of that goal. I also remember his winner at Fulham late on around 2013? I happened to be stood right in line with that one and the moment he hit it I knew it was going in the top corner. Not so fond memories of him at Oxford in the FA Cup.
