Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Cannot let it pass without reference to England slamming 304 off SA tonight in a T20
Phil Salt 141 as well beating his own record of the highest individual score for England in a T20 as well as the quickest ever 100 as well.
Amazing power hitting
This is it although there will undoubtedly be some information "planted" into the public domain to just add a little more to it then just two parties who wanted to do things different ways and - shock horror - the ones holding the purse strings won.
As is often the case, sad occasions like this allow for names/people from the past to meet up and share memories. It is exceptionally touching to see so many previous usernames back on here to pay their own tributes.
Don't be strangers guys, life really is too short.
That wasn't quite the point but its very true 🤣
The point really was that the quote "we almost made the play offs" last season gets used a bit and its simply not true. Not even close.
We finished where we did because of a strong finish including some dead rubber games. 7 points off the play offs, 12 points off the relegation places. Had we lost won of the last games we won we would have been nearer the latter than the former.
Much the same as the second season under...
I didn't really know Blaze personally but like so many on here you feel you know people through their postings. I asked him a few times for advice on design things which he was always more than happy to provide a viewpoint in or a point in the right direction.
This is so sad to read and I...
More than happy to accept there is an opposing opinion to me - I don't think he was of the standard we wanted and it seems the club agreed
Just another signing we made that for me never fitted in. But he's gone now, as I said I wish him no harm
As said its a matter of opinions. I don't believe he was good enough but by saying that doesnt mean I think Ollie Cooper was as well. Ginnelly was a bang average player in a bang average squad and therefore his release is of no real impact to us at all nor would I remember anything he did...
