Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr
All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
And as I have said each of the ideas and articles is thought through and the detail of that thinking is what is fed into the AI tol to create consistency in tone - if you feel the AI tool is giving the creativity then you are wrong
And the question of the self serve checkout was in relation to...
I don’t get what is worrying and lazy about writing something and then asking AI to formulate it into a consistent structure
Doesn’t take away anything from the traditional role
Out of interest do you use self serve checkouts in the supermarket or do much of your shopping with say Amazon ?
Which anyone is fully entitled to do and they will be asked the same question of "do you want it structured via AI" - if the answer is no (which it rarely is) then it won't be.
Its what it screams to you but the reality is it 's the opposite to that. For me we will continue to embrace this - its just an evolution to do so then the traditional "grammar check" that has been part of MS Word packages since they were formed
And I would guarantee that the positive...
Precisely this and I agree. I use AI on a daily basis in work (not yet got there on using it for emails) for consistency of tone and set up. But if I let it do it all by itself then it would be populated with mistakes and issues - we are way away from a stage (IMO) where AI can replace people...
The website has often been open to opposing views so if someone wants to do just that we will
Publish it - I seem to remember we did it the last time there was an article on Sheehan a few weeks back
As I said these articles are not written by AI by any stretch, they have to have a viewpoint...
I know how this was written and it wasn’t written by chat Gpt of any equivalent
It was written by giving the views of the author in a format that it was asked to make it consistent in tone with other articles on the site
Same as every single article is , as has been said if you don’t like...
Coming back with my own views
Casey - better than Burgess but was woefully at fault for letting the ball bounce yesterday
Inoussa - agree he is our most dangerous but the competition there is a pretty low bar that he is over but not by a massive way. Runs a lot, little end product - see...
I remain a little unconvinced on the consistency of Burgess but the same could be said about any of our central defenders so happy with that
But don't disagree on the rest - not sure I understand our loan signings and we always have had a reluctance to use them but maybe thats the nature of them
Which appoints average championship managers after signing average championship players
15 wins
16 draws
15 defeats
Enough to keep people thinking into April we were close to the play offs and just enough to let them forget that we were also equally concerned about relegation but we forget...
I couldn’t answer that to be honest Max without any level of indication or your risk appetite, your requirements for the money (access etc) and capacity for loss
If it’s cash isa you are in at the moment then I’d assume you’d want similar with no capital risk so I’d be tempted to look at...
I'm not dissing it - that's why everyone has a tolerance to risk. I was merely pointing out that cash investments have risk but its not capital risk.
Same with everything on this front people should have a range and selection of all different types of investments - never have all eggs in one...
