    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    West Ham I Was at the game think Jimmy Rimmer was in goal thankfully avoided relegation . Nerve racking 90 mins . Bond signed a few players Derek Parlane was one pretty sure there was an ex Ipswich player .

    23rd March 1977 Swans 4 nil down at home to Stockport Goals from George Smith , Les Chappell , Eddie May , Alan Curtis saw us gain an unlikely point .

    What about the 4 - 4 draw against Stockport we were 4 nil down at half time at the Vetch Vague recolection of George Smith scoring . A comback win against Cardiff 3 - 2 at the Vetch . We hadn't won away for a long time 6 - 4 at Bradford City .

    A 3 year plan is sensible to me Coventry , Millwall , Boro didnt build a side capable of promotion or playoffs in 1 or 2 transfer windows . I'm happy with the progress the clarity of what we need is clear .
